Course Curriculum Overview
This course is very different from other and provide opportunities to work around world. Curriculum provide good study material and everything. Area of improvement in practical knowledge. Exam is held after every 2 month intervals.
Internships Opportunities
Basically internship is not needed in marine engineering but as per my knowledge internship is provided to the students of other departments present in our college and also they get opportunity to go and explore in foreign countries.
Placement Experience
Generally placement starts from 7th semester. There were several companies like synergy, Maersk, whilhemson, diamico, k line etc Highest pakeage around 8 lakhs and average is 6 lakhs in marine engineering. Percentage of placement is almost 90%. After completing the degree have to complete on board training.
Fees and Financial Aid
General fee doesn't increase after every year fee increase after intervals of two or three years. All the expenses during my course is around 1100000. Alimuni of college get 25% reduction in their fee and girls get 100000 scholarship per annum by DG shipping. Don't know much about employees but every employee have to a contract of certain period of time according to college policy and employee of year is awarded.
Campus Life
There were many functions held in my college like annual function, convergence, navratri (garwa event), freshers party and many more . There were around 60000 books in library, what ever books we want easily one can get just by scanning their identity card. In class there is a projector, pc system, light, fan ,and ac is also provided. We have sports complex in the campus which includes every game including swimming pool, gym ,etc. Yes there are several club for event organisers and students group to copup with different events.
Hostel Facilities
Every room is constructed with a study table, study lights, two fan , one cooler and one student get a separate drower for booksas well as clothes. Meal quality is too good and hygienic and menu is changed every day. Registration for hostel is done during admission only. No I leaves in a hostel.
Admission
For marine engineering you must have 60% marks in pcm and secured rank in imucet. Application form you find on Ganpat University official website, and fee is about 340000 per annum, application comes around month of April. There is no benefit of reservation. Two midterm exam and a semester end exam. Improve your knowledge in physics, chemistry and maths
