Course Curriculum Overview
The course is quite specific and opens ur career opportunities in govt job and also college placements provides u access to the tech jobs... the curriculum is quite well balanced classes takes place 5 days a week .. in a semester of roughly 5 months following exams takes place midsem theory and practical , endsem theory and practical. Midsem is of 30 marks and is a 2 hour exam and endsem is of 50 marks and is a 3 hrs exam .. rest 20 marks are for teachers assesssment. The difficulty of exam is easy...
Internships Opportunities
As i am in civil engineering we are given internships in bhilai steel plant for 5000 stipend rest we apply for internships in other iit and nit colleges stipends are fixed by them .. in short the internship opportunities are not good for lower branches
Placement Experience
Placements are good in our college average package of 12lpa is offered among all branches whereas in higher branches that is cs and it , it is arround 20 lpa . The placement percentage among all branches is arround 85 to 90 percent .. various companies visits our college for sde role , data analyst core etc . The number of offers made in civil branch were 120 for 80 students in 2023..
Fees and Financial Aid
Tution fees is 130000 approx per year Others fees such as library digital etc is 30000 It kept on decreasing as u move in successive years Scholarships... 100 % tuition fee waiver for sc ,st students and students having family income less than 1 lac for general and obc category 50% tuition fee waiver for students having family income between 1 to 5 lacs Rest other scholarships such as nsp ,state scholarships and various merit and economically backward students scholarship is awarded by the college Placements is arround 12 lpa average package for all branches yet internship opportunities are paid ones in lower branches for higher branches they have good amount of placements as well as internships...
Campus Life
Following are the major fests that takes place 1. Esummit in October organised by entrepreneurship cell 2. Shrutii the musical fest organised by team raaga musical club in october itself 3. Aavartan the tech fest organised by team technocracy in month of novemver 4. Summer the sports fest organised by team shaurya in month of november 5. Avinya organised by innovation cell in month of January 6. Eclectika the cultural fest organised by team sanskriti in month of February.. Other clubs are abhinay the dramatic club ,ncc, nss, think india etc ... All academic books are available in the library for free Campus is little small and in the classes as well as the whole building we get free wifi..
Hostel Facilities
Hostel is quite conjested . 3 people live in one room .. and hostel is provided only to the meritorious students.. Meals are provided 4 times a day breakfast ,lunch,snacks and dinner.. If the students doesn't get the hostel they rent a pg or flat in the nearby areas ie DDU nagar and kota etc
Admission
For getting admission we need to clear jee mains examination then we go through the process of jossa and csab counselling then physical verification and document submission. The level of entrance exam is quite tough . i scored 93.6 percentile in jee mains 2022 equivalent to 57123 rank and got admission in general category in civil engineering branch .. The institution holds reservation as per the government norms ..
