Entrance Preview

PET - Pre Engineering test. PET which students has to appear after there 12th exam. And based on PET merit list students are invited for counseling, where they can select college from all over M. P.

Course Curriculum Overview

It was pretty much standard, as per B. E. E&C they covered all the theory subject and all the practical sessions. First year was common among all the branches next year onward it was specialization in E&C.

Internships Opportunities

Since it's private college there was no internship, so no stipend was offered. During that time fee was around 26K per annul + exam fees extra. which was bit expensive then government college.

We have domains and certain denomination in placements like 6 figure denomination for top performing students as they get placements in excess of 10 lakhs. One becomes eligible for college placements if he/she in their third or fourth year. The number of companies visits are great like Microsoft, JP Morgan Chase &Co. , Atlassian etc. These are the good companies which offers great placements. The percentage of students placed are about 85%. My plans after getting a degree is I'll move in tech based companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Jiwaji is Government university which have a long heritage. But is now coming to the short end of the rope. Institute of Engineering Jiwaji is fairly newly established around 20 to 30 years or so. The faculty is not that great and is not that experienced and have less facilities. Faculty of IEJU is mostly on temporary payroll with some of the permanent faculty. You have entire leasure of time to yourself. So, thing other than couese can be pursued. Hostel facilities are good. If we come to exams Other than Pharmacy and Engineering all other course have tomoy scheduled exams with strict checking and scoring.

Remarks:

My college comes under Institute of National importance,it has amazing placement,the students in this college are very intelligent as everyone joins after qualifying one of the toughest exam JEE advance, college has beautiful campus and has well equipped labs and also hasquite low fee compared to other colleges.

A college for self study and aim big

As in my case, I am searching for a college which is in a calm place to study so I choose HCET over others as their campus is far from the city rush and calm area. The good thing about my college is that teachers are so helpful and the campus has all useful facilities like canteens, hostels, buses, etc. The admission process is simple to go through JEE mains exam and after that filling counselling or just visit the college and talk to teachers in counselling cell they will guide well. The only bad aspect of this college is that due to its located far from the city it's not easy to get the stationery product or other product of study nearby. I prefer this college if self-study is in your mind as its located in the best location to study as no distraction here. I didn't go through any blog as I belong to Jabalpur only my elders are also studying in this college they given me more than enough info....Read More
