Remarks
the admission process was as expected of any government college, i didnt face any challenges as such but the process was very tedious. but overall the experience was okay and the people were supportive as long as all the required docs are available in advance.
Course Curriculum Overview
the first year of the it department includes the subjects like engineering graphhics and basic electrical engineering which do not correspond with the course of IT. but from 2nd sem 2 subjects are of relevance like computer programminng and data structures.
Internships Opportunities
the internship opportunities are there but there is quite a fierce competition for it as only a few can get selected for the internship opportunity on campus and many have to try it off campus for the internships
Placement Experience
one of the good things about this college is its placement statistics 10 lpa overall average package, and the average package of IT department is 18 lakhs per anum this is quite good all things considered
Fees and Financial Aid
there is enough scholarship opportunities and financial assistance that those who need can benefit from it. and the on ccampus placement is decent enough that you wont have to take tention for it just have to do good in the ongoing college course.
Campus Life
yeah in this expect i think the college is quite lacking. as there arent as big the fests as in other nits, isnt as much social involvement . though it has good club involvement and you could find a club covering all the major interests in the college.
Hostel Facilities
there is a severe lack of hostels in the campus and the allotment of the hostels is based on the academic performance i.e. the rank is the basis of hostel allotment in the first year and from the next year the hostel is alloted on the basis of their odd sem cpi.
