Likes

Library is pretty good. Approx all academic books are present in library and we can also borrow book from library for 3 months
Sports club is very nice here. We got opportunities for showing our sports mania here.
Placement is good here. Most students get placed.

Dislikes

Campus area is not big. It is around 100 acres which is small compared to other nits
Everyone is not getting hostel here. Only top 20 percent students get hostel facilities
Faculties are somewhat strict. They don't give marks in examination.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course is very nice. We got practical knowledge in it. I have learnt how to make slab, concrete, concrete mix design and many other things. Teachers are very helpful and they give real life examples. We can improve our thinking skills and engineering skill in this course. Area of improvement should be like improvement in devices.

Class Size: 96Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Placement Experience

From 6th semester students become applicable for campus placement. Moreover, students can get off campus placement by their own. Many companies visit to nit Raipur. Highest package got by students in year 2023-24 are around 55 lakh per anum. My plans is to get campus placement and enjoy my rest of life.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is around 150000 per annum. The complete cost is around 8 lakh for 8 semester. By doing intership in industries they give stipends to students as per their abilities. National government give nsp scholarship to reserved candidates.

Campus Life

There are many festivals celebrated in college. The main function is electrika which is celebrated in April month. Moreover, summer, avartan and other fest are also celebrated. Library is also good and it give pleasure environment to students. Sports club is the best club in nit Raipur.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is good but not all students get hostel. Based on their academic performance students get hostel. Moreover, caste reservation and PWD reservation is also applicable for reserved candidates. Hostel is more affordable and it gives peaceful environment for study.

Hostel Fee: INR 55000 per year

Admission

I gave jee mains and got 92.48 percentile in it. After that I filled josa application and got nit Raipur civil engineering. I belongs from general ews category. Difficulty level is moderate but syllabus is very vast. We need practical knowledge and need to understand life related examples

Placement Experience:

This college is the best college in whole Chhattisgarh in terms of placements. This college will give you best placements that even the gov. college of it's level will not. A minimum of 400000 per year placements here is easy. And if you got some amazing skills then you can get a package more than 2200000 per year. That's very nice!

Remarks:

Best : Education Quality In our college we can study free of mind and with enjoyment. A huge library is there for study and for taking books from there. Worst : Hostel management In Our college hostle place is less, that's why more student need to away from college

Admission:

I had completed my diploma From Rungta college in 2015 and then by Counseling (Counselling of BE /B Pharma) I got Lakhmi. Chand institute Of Technology college then there was a call from the college for my Document verification after verification I filled up the admission form, then the fee submission.

An Homestate Girl in NIT Raipur

Honestly As A Girl , My Parents did'nt Allowed me to Leave my state . Which is very disappointment for me but it is okay They care about me ,so that nothing happen to me. My college is good

I applied in jossa counselling and get this college via that counselling because of my jee mains rank i got this college very best whatever I can get so i didn't really apply for any college just got addmission into this college because of jossa counselling and jee mains and jee advanced. I want to join iits but my rank was not that good so i didn't get seat into college like iit Bombay, iit Delhi, iit Kharagpur etc. I get addmission iny college firstly you have to give jee mains exam and get ranks as follows 75000 for general studies to get addmission in my college via jossa counselling or csab counselling you got the seat then pay the seat acceptance fee and book the seat in college then go to physical reporting to that college....Read More

First i apply for nit tiruchi but the cause of lack of percentile I got the the admission in nit Raipur in btech biotechnology the nit Raipur is a reputable in the matter of h good placement with none core branches but the nit tiruchi is highly reputable prefer high placement with core and none core branches Yes I got the rejection from nit tiruchi and nit bhopal as. My Daily Life At NIT Raipur

I had applied for NIT Silchar , But i didn't got it because of Low percentile in Jee Mains 2025 but i got NIT Raipur At Last Because NITs Have Home State quota and I Belong to Chattisgarh ,so i got NIT . I didn't Choose this college this was the only option i Had Left . So i had to choose this college that to Bio Technology Branch .but anyways i got good college ,better than half of the private institute in the manner of Fees and Reputition . We got admission through JOSAA , And we have to qualify Jee Mains Examination ,which Is Conducted By NTA ( National Testing Agency ) . The cutoff the exam category wise are Gen - 93.4 Percentile , Obc-82.1 Percentile , Sc -61 Percentile , And For ST it is 48 Percentile.
