IT WAS A GREAT EXPERIENCE OVERALL

Management is of very broad vision both in the development of college as well as the students' acedemic and extra curricular performances. College canteen requires a modern touch(which they are already working on) and change in the menu.

Reputation in civil engineering of very good results(college had produced vtu ranks continuously every year) and had good infrastructure facilities (labs,classrooms,washrooms). One more important factor was that it is very nearby to my house. Even my elder brothers had completed their graduation in this college itself and were in good jobs abroad as well as in india

When I joined the institute , the curriculum as per vtu syllabus which was followed was not completely upto the current practical requirements, but recently vtu have updated their syllabus according to current practical requirement For eg. Earlier we had to draft the drawings using drafter onto a drawing sheets manually but now the drawings are created completely using the autocad software

Yes, but it varies from branch to branch, since mine is civil engineering, let me tell my part , we had internship conducted from our department between 3rd year and 4th year's gap, it was nice experience through which we all gained so much of practical knowledge that is required to civil engineers.

Placement chances are not very very high but it is moderately good. But surely college placement cell does some hardwork in bringing companies like Infosys, tech Mahindra, saap , and many more which are for cs and ec, for mechanical and civil they had brought GreenBrooke, agrima steel design etc

In the odd sem , branch entry and freshers day will be celebrated, and in the even sems all the sports tournaments like cricket , kabaddi, football and the college day is celebrated. hi World water day, and some national level conferences are also held in the college.

Fee structure is feasible, Via CET it would cost 70 to 80 thousand per year(when I joined it was 65k) And management seats vary from 1.25-1.5 lakh per annum to the best of my knowledge. There is also a special opportunity for the students who completed their puc education in vpuc who can join by paying fees same as that a CET entry student pays

Not directly by the college, but college helps the students to get their scholarship based on various criterias by giving information via notice boards.

The campus life was awesome as it was always enjoyed with the friends, maybe it's during special events or variety day , ethnic day, college day or even the cricket tournaments, kabaddi tournaments -all these events were so much immersed us into joy of college life. The compitions like gamethon(had several fun game ranging from computer based games to motor bike based games)

I was not a hostellite.I was a day scholar. But as I have heard by my hostellite friends , the rooms are good enough to create reading environment and also a memorable place since it had gave them joyful memories, but the mess was not upto the mark as they say, I have are there a couple of times, it was nice but then for them it was always the same and were bored of the mess .

Have no idea about that thing since I am just passed out recently this year . But my general opinion is that alumni network should be usefull since it increases the chances of contacts with new companies through them.

There are 6 theories and 2 practical subjects in each semester upto 7th semester, 8th sem has 4 theories ,seminar and project 3 internals will be conducted in each sem and one vtu main exam based on whole sem's portion . The total max marks per theory subject is 125(25 is internal and 100 external) and for practical is 75(25 internal and 50 external)

I wrote CET entrance exam and opted for vcet while I had to enter college of choice online.filled the application form (I don't remember the complete process properly), paid the first year's joining fees and that's it. Everything went on very smoothly since the office staff were also very very nice in all the process.

50-60 % were well experienced and remaining were freshers but were conforming to the requirements, I didn't feel much difficulty with anyone, most of them are really friendly and quite approachable regarding any queries related to subjects. The lectures were not only supportive in academics but also in various other college-conducted or other special events where we could exhibit the application of our knowledge and skills.
