Course Curriculum Overview
Although I would rate course curriculum in btech good but it should be upgraded.I think engineering taught us many things in life either decision making, facing challenges and living chill inspite have so many tensions in life. Here in our NIT professors are so good they teaches us so well and give real life examples . The academic exams here are not so tough and can be passed easily by overnight study. But some update in curriculum is required such as giving more priority to real life examples and give practical knowledge rather than give theoretical knowledge only.
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities at my college included placements at renowned companies like Google, Microsoft, and Deloitte, abode. Roles offered varied from software development and data analysis to marketing and consulting. For example, interns at Google worked on projects related to software engineering, machine learning, and product management, contributing to the development of various Google products. At Microsoft, interns were involved in software development projects, gaining hands-on experience in coding, debugging, and testing software applications. Deloitte interns worked on consulting projects, conducting market research, data analysis, and client presentations to deliver valuable insights and recommendations. Stipends ranged from $2000 to $5000 per month, depending on the company and role.
Placement Experience
Placement in our college are good or above average. It average CTC is about 10 lpa. And avg CTC of CSE and IT is 17-18 lpa . But if you are from lower branch then it's not much good in core placement. You can also apply for off campus placement.
Fees and Financial Aid
Tution fees for btech is about rs140000 per year but you will get fee waiver of your family income is low . You don't have to pay tution fees is your family income in less than 100000rs and you will have to pay only 1/3rd of tution fees if your family income is btw 2 to 5 lakhs . You will get many scholarship as well like nsp , reliance etc . Here campus placement is also good . Average CTC is about 10 lpa .
Campus Life
Here campus is relatively small but it's good in many aspects . And social involvement is good if you communicate with different students who have come from different states of India. Various Clubs are there . Infrastructure here is also good .
Hostel Facilities
NIT Raipur hostel facility is not much good . There is shortage of hostel. only limited students get hostel and other have to live away from campus . But if got hostel it's good . As every facility is provided in hostel .
Admission
The admission process in NIT Raipur is based on JEE mains rank . JEE mains exam held generally twice in every year . On your jee mains rank basis you would get different branches in NIT Raipur. And there is also reservation for , Sc,st ,OBC . And there is additional female quota also . And there is homestate quota also. JEE mains is a tough exam but you can crack this easily if you study through proper planning.but you should also have 75% or more in your 12th board exam if you are OBC or general candidate. I think this aspect of have 75% or more in board exam is not good in admission process.
