- Loaction is best all market and showroom are nearby..there is a chaupati near the campus..you can eat all type of street food there with minimal cost..which best thing of our college
- Central garden..for couples and lovers it is best place to chill and hang out
- Academics is not the best but quite decent gor placement
Dislikes
- Campus size ..it is small to explore....
- Hostel allocation..they provide only 1400 seats for boys but there are 3000 boys in college
- Due to of small campus size there is lack of ground which results in bad sports culture
Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum is hard for me ...as an 12th fresher ..but overall curriculum is very beneficial..i am in 1st year and i have learnt c++ and dsa just thorough the curriculum..in 3rd semester it would be hardest enough just because of the core field and we will not get the time for side hustles
Placement Experience
As we are studying in top college of India ... National institute of technology raipur..we are hoping of an high salary job ..at the same time college is giving an average package of 12 lpa which is quite decent i my branch it is 14 lpa
Fees and Financial Aid
There is 70000 tuition fees for each semster for a atudent having parental salary 5lakhs above but it will be less for a family having salary below 5 lakhs but above 1 lakhs which is equal to 1/3rd of total fees and for below 1lakhs it is free
Campus Life
Campus is quite small you can explore whole campus in just a month only but vlubs and committee ate quite active.. functions and fests are going in a whole month which is a good part..sports facilities are best no problem ..but if 1 ground of cricket is more required
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility are quite decent in 1st yr you will get either 2 or 3 person in a room ..with no AC facilities..as due to small campus hostels are close to main academics building..mess is decent with a fixed list of foods ..you can get 2 times non veg a week and the intime of hostel at night is 9pm and outime in morning is 6 am
Admission
Overall admission process is quite good they have given many information before coming to college..there are many other reservation benifits ..general obc st sc pwd ..hostels are given through homestate and other states category..there is a 25/75 ratio of allocation of hostels 25 is for Home state and other state...if we talk about syylabus ..it is tough here the 1st sem is of 5 months and 2nd is for 4 months only .. if we talk about exams there are 2 exams in a semester one is mid sem another is end sem..your 2nd year hostel allocation is dependent on 1st semester results..the biggest drawback of yhis college is of lack of seats of hostel..they have proper area to build a hostel but they font build ..instead of thay they are ready to shift a new campus of national institute of technology raipur in naya raipur..which is quite bad idea ..if they can make hostels then why not ...but overall current location of nit is best ..all markets and showroom are nearby you can go to visiting place
