Course Curriculum Overview
Teaching methods are poor college as there is no practical applications regarding the subject is given . Not invest anything on skill development only bookish knowledge is given .There is 2 exams for each semester that is mid semester in which 2 chapters are covered and in Last semester 4 chapters are covered. Mid semester is easy than end semester exam.
Internships Opportunities
it has two phase for the intership .. 1) the 2 nd year students get the intern for smaller companies and from third year we get intern from bigger company ..the bigger company are like Infosys, bdm etc
Placement Experience
1 ) the 7 semester students get ready for placement and then after the placement you will have to prepare for final exam 2) the companies are HCL , samsung, Amazon, Infosys , reliance , adani group etc.. 3) the highest package are about 50 to 55 lpa and average package is about 10 to 12 lpa.. 4) About 80 percent students get placed but due to recession the placement is decreased by 50 percent.. 5) preparing for the master
Fees and Financial Aid
It is a government college therefore the tution fees is constant that is 70000 every semester. There is total 8 semester in BTech 2 in each year the complete cost for BTech is approx 6 lakhs. The scholarship provided by our institute is NSP ( National Scholarship Policy ) in which 50k to 1 lakhs is given to student in every year .
Campus Life
There is almost 14-15 different clubs and committees in the college in which some major care Avartan , Abhinay , Summar etc . There is number of events took place in a year by all different clubs and prizes are also worth it . Major event take place is Avartan which is related to technology, Eclectica in which celebrities are invited, In Summar fest games among different branches are played .The library is good which has almost books of every theme.Its provide good environment to students to study .
Hostel Facilities
There are 4 hostel for 1st year students of 2 floors each and 1 hostle of 5 floors for 2nd to 4th year students. The atmosphere of hostels are quite good . The rooms are large enough and aquires three person in each room .All basic facilities are provided here . Meal is quite average in taste . Indoor game stadium for badminton, volleyball is given in each hostel
Admission
At NIT Raipur, the admission process typically involves applying through the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main for undergraduate programs. The application process usually includes filling out an online application form, submitting necessary documents, and paying the application fee.All these information is given in the website of the jossa after the result is published. Reservation benefits is seen in various aspects of admission like for different caste there is different cutoff for subject, admission fees is also low as per different caste . After taken all the documents as shown in jossa the admission process in NIT RAIPUR takes a whole day and it is very hectic to go from one room to another to submit the documents. The area of improvement in process is to do all the works in one room and according to the person come first to take admission .
