Entrance Preview
The college ranking was good. The placement drives claimed were impressive. The location and atmosphere was very good. The teaching methods and the facilities advertised were nice.The infrastructure was mind blowing. The courses offered were good. The fee structure was also nominal.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum for each subject is very impressive. The syllabus is regularly updated based on the emerging technologies. The updated syllabus gives in-depth knowledge in the subject and for each course certain course outcomes are provided and it is strongly followed.
Internships Opportunities
Yes they do provide internship but the details are only available to those who have already registered for that but as far as I've heard the internship experience is good.
Placement Experience
The companies are classified into product based and service based. For each department a good number of core companies and IT companies visit our campus every year. Every year boot camp is also conducted for all eligible students based on their CGPA.
College Events
Every year several workshops are conducted and other college students take part in those. Every year the major event conducted is Avantaa which is a mix of both educational and extra curricular activities and is conducted in a very grand way. Expo is also conducted where school students are invited and participate in various events.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is nominal taking into account all the facilities provided. The fee structure is categorized into academic facilities ,the lab facilities , maintenance,materials provided, hence the fee structure is absolutely feasible and economical.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college offers scholarship facilities based on government norms. For students from low class families and for first graduate students , a generous amount is deducted from the normal fee based on the government norms.
Campus Life
There are several clubs like oratory club, music club, and a number of research labs.The campus exposure is good and interesting to explore. There is also a department for physical education with a spacious ground with facilities for all kinds of sports activities.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel and the mess are clean and hygienic and the food provided is also hygienic and healthy. Varities of food are provided for each day of the week. Breakfast lunch and dinner are served with the apt meals. The hostel also has Wi-Fi facilities and unlimited internet access.
Alumni/Alumna
The seniors and passed out students give good advice and inspiration to lead a better life at college.
Exam Structure
For each semester there are two internal tests one model exam and other assessment components. The semester marks are not calculated only based on the final exams but includes all the other internal components also. The exam pattern is 2 mark and 16 mark questions.
Admission
I completed my 12 th standard TN HSC board exam and applied for TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions) counselling. Based on my cut off marks, this college was listed among the top eligible priorities for my particular mark. My college seat was registered in the counselling process.
Faculty
The faculty are strong in the syllabus and they undertake interactive teaching methods and keep us updated on the real-time outcomes as well. They train us with practical knowledge in addition to academics.The faculty are also given good exposure and reviewed periodically.
