Course Curriculum Overview
Faculty is not excellent and the course is very outdated, both are average. But the placement scenario stands strong which is the reason why I choosed to come here. New curriculum and teaching techniques need to be adapted.
Internships Opportunities
Companies like Deshaw, Arcesium, GE healthcare, Optum, DBOI, VISA, Intuit gave on campus offers. The evaluate mostly on the basis of skills like DSA, Development, Soft skills and values. Although the number of opportunities coming into this college needs to be spiked.
Placement Experience
The highest package of core branches are around 21-30lakhs, but the highest package and median packages of non core branches lie around 65lakhs and 18lakhs respectively. The roles offered mostly are of SDE and Analyst. More than 70% students get placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
The overall fee structure for Btech per year is 138000. There is 2/3rd scholarship avaialable for income falling between 1-5lakh which costs around 54000 per year and 100% scholarship for income lesser than 1 lakh which costs around 8000 per year. These fee embruisements are only on tution fees.
Campus Life
There are clubs for all kind of activities and curriculars. Students can be the part of whichever club they find their interests in. The infrastructure is average, no swimming pool and proper sports facilities and hostel accomodation is also insufficient.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility is decent except for the food they provide in mess. The hostel charges are also very affordable but not everybody gets accomodation inside, so students need to stay outside the campus in PGs and private hostels.
Admission
You need to appear in JEE(Joint Entrance Examination) Mains, every year NTA conducts this exam and you can find its application form in NTA's website around in Nov-Dec and based on its score you can get admission here. The cutoff percentile for each branch keeps on varying but it is approximately 98%ile for OS and 95%ile for HS to get into the top branch.
