Course Curriculum Overview
After doing MBBS in India, we can become Indian medical Graduates (IMGs) and treat patients. The curriculum is very hard work oriented plus it also enhances your clinical skills. Difficulty level is hard. There must be more emphasis on the practical part along with theory.
Internships Opportunities
After doing MBBS for 4.5 years, there's 1 year mandatory internship to be done in the college hospital for variable durations depending upon the departments. In my college the stipend for internship is Rs. 12500/- per month.
Fees and Financial Aid
The complete cost of MBBS in Government Medical Colleges are not too high. It's generally less than Rs. 40000 on an average per year. The stipends varies according to the state and central institutes.
Campus Life
There are many annual functions which are held in our college like Fresher's party, fests, cultural programmes, social activities to create awareness, sports activities and many more. This enables to maintain a balance between studies and extracurricular activities.
Admission
Eligibility for MBBS in India is clearing NEET-UG examination ( National eligibility cum entrance test) after passing class 12th examination. NEET- UG examination is held annually in the month of May usually. This year it's on 5th May 2024. The cut- off for admission into government and private colleges differ according to the category of the student. The time duration is of 3 hours and difficulty level is medium.
