- Hostel have limited rooms because of which students are forced to stay outside in rents which are higher in cost. Whereas every other nit provides all the students with hostel.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course as I am interested in this particular field of work. I think the curriculum prepares us well enough for real world applications, as for the teaching method I do believe that better faculty could be appointed and I think the timing of exams might be a bit hectic
Internships Opportunities
The intership opportunities are decent in this college and the students are either able to apply for companies and other nits for internships or they can get a bonafide through the college to do their internship at their own ease in outdoor companies.
Fees and Financial Aid
Normally the fees structure is around 1 lakh but the students with reservations are relieved from the tuition fees, as for scholarships I am getting my scholarship from the NSP umbrella scheme. The scholarship that I'm availed is around 50000 and it helps a bit in my day to day spending and matters related to college
Campus Life
There are annual cultural fest being held and I believe the quality of these fests are alright, the library has decent amount of study materials and books available, I do believe that the classrooms could be improved a bit. Sports and extracurricular activities are also held on a regular basis every year and there are clubs present in the college which aligns with the students interests
Hostel Facilities
I would say that the hostel facilities are quite poor. The first year students are seperated from the 2nd, 3rd and 4th year students to prevent ragging which is good. But the hostel rooms are limited and the students after the 1st year are made to stay together with other years students because of the lack of hostel rooms available. The bathroom are unhygienic and the wifi provided in the hostel is also bad and the mobile network available in the hostel is also weak.
Admission
First of all I cleared the JEE Mains entrance exam and through jossa councelling I was able to secure a seat in this college. The registration process required us to submit all of our necessary documents to the college authorities like caste certificate, mark sheet of class 10th and 12th etc. after this the students are supposed to pay their fees and then the classes began
