college review for nit raipur

the person who likes playing with machines and like coding and want to become programmer should choose this course. this course helps develop skills in many things in day to day life and helps in sorting the things easily. the only setback for this course is that there are so many students in this course in India. in college in an year 2 exams are there semester wise and 2 mid semester exams are there.

many companies come for internship in college like DE SHAW and amazon etc and many internships occurs off campus but many students get internship in third year and many students in 2 nd year get intership off campus. and many project work occurs in college which is aso displayed in fests time also and prices are also given as judges are present from famous startups.

students from 3rd year are eligible for placement and also 4th year as campus placements are good as many big companies come on campus like microsoft, DE SHAW etc. which offers good amount. in IT and CSE branch average package is nearly 18 lpa which is good and highest is nearly 50-60 lpa. nearly 90-100 percent placment occurs in this 2 branches and little low in other branches.

as this is government college no such high fees is there as compared to private colleges and medical colleges. for general students fees is like 70000 for each semester and for st,sc,obc it is reduced and also students from poor financial background if appear for scolarship can get benefit.

so much fests occur in college like tech fest called aavartan and cultural fest called eclectika which calls celebrity and big creators and artiist in college so that student can enjoy there life in college. there are libraries in college where one can study peacefully in ac. even faculties and facilities are there which can help students in study. sports clubs are also there called shaurya which give oppurtunities to students to participate in sports and showcsase thier talent. and many other clubs are also there like robotix club and ytc club and dance club and singing club etc.

in hostel rooms there is only bed and table and chair and one cupboard is given and we have to bring the mattress ourself and no of hostel is less in college as not all students can get hostel some have to take hostel or pg outside the campus. there are rooms with 2 sharing and even 3 sharing. mess food quality is below average and it varies from hostel to hostel.menu is ok but food quality is bad. hostel fees are ok like 4k per month nearly for general and for other categories it is little less. we can easily find hostel and pg outside the campus as it is located in middle of city raipur

yes i took an entrance exam called jee main in which you if you want to get college you must have atleast 75% in pcm in class 12th. You have to clear the cutoff of the jee exam to appear in counselling to get college if you have enough rank in exam and fulfill the criteria for admission in that college you will get that college and then you have to pay some amount to lock that seat in jee counselling and then after sometime you have to appear physical reporting in college for approval of admission which is quite easy process some time taking though and you can find jee exam dates in nta site and also the counselling dates and result date also there are reservations also for st sc obc etc. it happens 2 times in an year
