- none of the lecture rooms have AC. especially in a place like mumbai where it is a necessity rather than a luxury
- no ACs in bakery where it almost an requirement
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is very vast and covers everything you need to know about the industry. the way syllabus has been divided into 6 semesters is impressive and everything is being introduced at the right time. apart from theoretical concepts college also provides with exceptional practical knowledge.
Placement Experience
Student are eligible for campus placement from the 5th semester. Both companies like Starbucks, McDonalds and hotels such as Taj, Oberoi etc hold interviews. Almost 80% of students get placed every year. avd package is 1.8 lac p.a and the highest might go to 6 lacs p. a
Fees and Financial Aid
The annual fee is approx 1.3 lac which is a lot cheaper then rest of the colleges providing this course. there is no fees price hike being a government college. scholarships and financial aid is available for reservation categories including SC, ST and OBC
Campus Life
The infrastructure is not that great but there is an area for basketball and volleyball for students. A bunch of festivals are celebrated with much enthusiasm. Cornucopia is an annual food fest where students have a complete creative control to cook and sell them to guests. A bunch of sport dance and music competitions are held throughout the year to keep the students engaged. the course doesn't offer any books only notes but there is a library where students can check out the books of their interested subject
Admission
eligibility is 65% in 12th finals. the entrance exam is nchm jee. the difficulty level of entrance is easy to moderate. the admission process is really easy without any problems and really easy to navigate.
Faculty
Some faculty for certain subjects are really great but many are not allocated to the field of their interest or specialisation so that sometimes becomes a barrier for learning. but otherwise the faculty provides w a differt perspective for the industry which is refreshing.
Interview Experience
there is no interview process. we just have to give the entrance exam and wait for our score. after that we wait for the ranks to be announced to know what colleges are we eligible for. after that we just have to pay an advance fee to book our seat in the college
