Course Curriculum Overview
Even though college has officially became autonomous college but our batch is still in affiliation with Jawaharlal Nehru Technology University of Kakinada. In this course structure every department has some software subjects which is very good for those who are interested in software sector. The main disadvantage of our course is the syllabus. The syllabus is very huge to the given duration of each semester. Overall the course is goodgood but needs to get better.
Placement Experience
Due to ongoing recession, there are very less placements. Whatever placements we get all are from IT companies . There are very less placements in hardware but it is increasing year by year. From 4th year onwards depending upon company eligibility we get selected and we have to write exam. Some of them are online while some are offline exams. Software companies that visited are Flipkart, Candela, PWC and some other companies. In hardware sector, Moschip, adobe chips, Samsung. The highest package in my college is 2700000 and lowest is 260000. Usually 60 percent of them will get placed but due to recession only 30 percent of them are being placed. My plans are i want to do jobs in vlsi based companies.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure depends on the type of admission. If you join through EAPCET exam , the fee is 60000. But if you have any reservation then you can get full fee reimbursement from the government. And the other way of joining is through 12th marks which should above 50 percent. But they have to pay full fee and the fee depends on the course you have selected. There is no scholarship provided by our college.
Campus Life
The campus life of our college is peaceful but it is too boring. There are very less activities conducted. We only have annual day, womens day evey year . There are almost not fests and no technical workshops. We have library which is very peaceful and calm environment to study but very less books are provided. Our classrooms are not nice and benches are also not good enough. We have very less sports events. There are some clubs in each department apart from that we also have national wide clubs which IEEE etc. My experience on this is not expected as I thought.
Admission
If you want reservation benefits then you have to write EAPCET exam. I attempted EAPCET exam and based on my rank I got admission in this college . Since I have fall into OBC category I got full fee reimbursement which is a very good benefit to me. For each semester we get 15000 from the government and we have to directly pay to the college. So for one year 4 terms of payments will be provided. All over the admission process is good.
Faculty
Most of them are well-trained and experienced teachers who explains concepts very well but there are some teachers who do not explain. They always guide us during tough situation. Most of the teachers are graduates from popular government institutes. They always clear our doubts . We can interact with them whenever we want.
