My amazing college experience

The college is a great place to be end be in the crowd is extremely well coming and happy the infrastructure is amazing but something commendable is the placement of CMRIT.

The college is located in the heart of the city which makes it easy to travel. Good infrastructure and amazing labs are an added advantage. The faculty is very helpful and open to all doubts most of them are very close and help even beyond class hours. Neat and clean environment very attractive campus a probable choice for my CET rank

Being a part of the electrical and electronics department is a blessing we have great teachers with amazing knowledge and willingness to explain doubts. We are expected to complete 3 mini projects per semester there are three ongoing mega projects from the department.

Our college tries to provide internship to students who haven't haven't been able to attend internships. Some internships provide stipend but most don't since I haven't gone applied for the internship through college I may not be able to shed some light on this aspect

This is one of the best in our college. we have had 30 companies in the 7th sem coming in for recruitment. Our college ensures maximum placement for all departments and has therefore introduced two criteria to sit for placements. 1) there should be a package difference of 2 lacks 2) a student can keep only two jobs in hand.

We had inter and intra college fests. One of the main fest being and inter College cultural fest. The students are encouraged to organize the entire event and co-ordinate. This helps us learn what is beyond books - how to organize an event and make it successful

The fee structure is as per the rules set by the University. What could be expensive is if one rents a flat or an apartment and the food outside the college. being and it area the neighborhood restaurants are a little expensive. But the fee structure is completely feasible.

Constantly exams are being conducted for students who are eligible for scholarships. Accordingly the most deserving get this opportunity

There are several extracurricular activities in college be sports or others the sports clubs are pretty active while the others like music and dance clubs are not very active. The technical clubs are active and a technical club exists for each department and host various competitions and guest lectures.

The canteen food is affordable I wouldn't say it is the tastiest but not at all a bad option with the varieties that one gets. I am a day scholar and wouldn't be able to comment about the hostel food or facilities. But from what I have heard from friends the hostel is pretty decent.

Alumni come in during placements from the respective companies and share their thoughts with us this is indeed a very helpful gesture.

Mostly we have around 3 to 4 days between each exam which is the reason studying is not that hectic. Though we are introduced tour New CBCS scheme the exams are structured in such a way so as to reduce the burden on students and help us study well...

After the CET list was put up according to my preferences I could apply in CMR. The admission process was simple and as per rules. I obtained the form from vtu and a form from college will be later filled up. They collected our marks cards which will be returned after the final sem.

Most of the faculty are very helpful and have great in that knowledge about the subject they are extremely willing to help any student in difficulty and provide enough study material helping others understand concepts and prepare well for your examination
