My college review : ADGIPS ( formely Adgitm)

My course is btech in computer science engineering. And the course structure for 1st year is common for all branches. But from second year we follow individual course structure. The curriculum is well balanced and designed to help students to grasp practical as well as theoritical knowledge. Also various projects and working models are given to made so that we can understood industrial implications of the subject.

Placements in my college is quite decent. Not very bad and not so good. But yes if are enough prepared and have good skills you can easily grab a decent placement. Placements generally starts in 7th semester of engineering. Average package may differ from branch to branch but for computer science it is 6lpa and for overall college placements is 4.5lpa Generally 50-60% students gets placed through the college and rest goes for off campus and higher studies. I am deciding to go for higher studies like masters and all.

Tution fee for the first year of every branch is 144000 but from the second year it reduces to 132000 for all three years. No others fees after tution fees is taken by college There is various scholarships available for students with reservation and ews ceritifcates. And universiry also provide some relaxation in fees to poor students from 2nd year. But you have to pay complete fees for the first year.

There is many clubs in our college. Approx 12-15 clubs which focus on different personality development of and individual. They have regular meetings and regular seminars and most of pur clubs are active. Technical fests of our college held in month of march and it is of 3 days but each days has its own fun. Books and accessibility is so good in this college one can issue any book of it's choice and also can study in library without any permissions and restrictions. College also have good sports facility. Our most of the sports teams are best in the university and perfomers mind blowing every year. We have cricket, badminton, volleyball, tug of war andany more sports. There are also various social groups like ncc, nss and environment related groups in which students are engaged in societal welfare.

Admission process generally depend on the JEE dxam. One have to appear and score good in jee and after that he has to apply for ggsipu counselling held every year in month between March-june. After applying there will be various rounds of counselling and according to your ranks you are alloted a seat in various college affiliated to ggsipu university. There is no reservation for outside state students. But inside delhi students have 85% reserved seats. And only st sc reservation is given in private affiliated colleges. And ee/obc/st/sc in government affiliated colleges. Admission process is not so complex. One can easily get through it will little guidance.

Faculty members are very supportive and easy to approach. There are various teachers and proffesors of same subject due to which no classes get cancel and every lecture get arranged. Some teachers are very experience having 15+ years of experienced of teaching and teach very good but have little rudeness and not flexible for late assignments and files. Teacher is to student ratio is 1:20 but overall the teachers are very experienced and satisfied.
