Forestry life

The exam period is stressful. Even though the syllabus is not that difficult, the number of exams days make it different for students. The course is good, it help us to be more responsible citizen. We come across many cases were we need to think practically rather than the theory

We can get admission to this course only via keam or icar. Scholarships are available for icar students.also we can utilise scholarship that are already provided by the government for college students. We pay the fee sem wise, which is almost 5 months currently. The college fee comes around 21000 for a year. The hostel fee we need to pay separately .the point to note is that we have educational trips in between, for that we need to put our own money, the college won't provide it.but it's worth it

The campus is good. The environment is peaceful. We have a college library and campus library. There are plenty of books there. We have a students union, which conducts various programs every week. Exams are sem wise

The hostel facility is good. Clean room and washrooms. they clean it everyday. We have a study hall. In mess we have both veg and non veg food. The mess is also kept clean. But the mess food can be much better .the fee is sem wise, which is approximately 15000

Currently we need to write neet or icar to get into this college. This is the only government forestry college in kerala. The children of agricultural University workers have reserved seat here. The admission procedure is all controlled by keam.

The faculty are well educated, they either studied at our same college or any other forestry colleges of India. They have both practical and theoretical knowledge. They have completed their msc & PhD work successfully.
