Course Curriculum Overview
The B.com hons degree under the New Education Policy(NEP) helps students to learn not just about the commerce field but also about other fields. It doesn't limit students to just their own field but also other fields. The course also contains subjects that prepares students for real world situations such as entrepreneurship and accounting.
Fees and Financial Aid
The commerce department in Arya Vidyapeeth College is self financed and hence the students enrolled in the Bcom degree have to pay a sum of 7200 rupees each semester. The tuition fees could be deducted because it is a bit costly considering students have to pay the amount twice in a year. Ews and other sections get some relief in fees.
Campus Life
2-3 types of freshers are held for students. Other than that not much functions are held in the college. The classrooms are installed with projectors and screens. The college arranges sports competitions ocassionally and college week is also held where students can take part in diffferent sports competitions.
Admission
The 1st semester admission is very flexible as it is done digitally. Although the 2nd semester admissions were not conducted in a smooth manner as it was an offline and time taking process. Sessional exams are conducted after 2-3 months of the beginning of the session and the finals exams are conducted after 5-6 months.
Faculty
The teachers of commerce department are great and approachable. Their teaching methods are helpful for students to learn things easily and quickly. They are also good with their behaviour with the students.
