Course Curriculum Overview

The course I opted here is really good and has a great future significance. It majorly deals with the RnD stuff and is quiet interesting. Talking about college curriculum, we have 2 CTs, 2 Assignments, 1 final assessment per semester which sums up to 100 marks in total.

Internships Opportunities

The internship opportunities are also very good in the college as we have a list of very outstanding companies which visit the college every year for internships. Google, Microsoft, Amazon, etc. are among them.

Placement Experience

The placement records are outstanding and best in the NITs. Different branches have different Average packages and the least amoung them is about 13 lakhs per annum. The placement records are more than 96%.

Fees and Financial Aid

The semester wise fee is 62500 per sem for tution and additional 15850 per odd sem. It's a little high as compared to other NITs but we have a lot of scholarship programs in both reserved and merit categories.

Campus Life

The overall campus life in NITT is really good and we get a good amount of exposure and peer group which plays a major role in future. The facilities offered in campus are outstanding and are all so student friendly.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facility is also nice in the college. BTech students are given a 2 sharing rooms and have several facilities like laundry, wifi, LAN, water coolers, etc. The mess food is also nice and hygienic. We are served 4 meals a day.

Hostel Fee: INR 83800 per year

Admission

The admissions to this college are taken from the JEE entrance exam for Btech. The cutoff range is very different for different courses. My course closing rank for my open general was about 20000. There are counselling for the admission and seat allotment to this college done by josaa and csab. There is a one day process after that which is done in the college premises itself.

Faculty

All the faculties here are outstanding and have done Phd in different fields. They are quiet interactive and have good teaching techniques. Are always available for doubts after the class hours. The teacher student ratio is also good as about 1 faculty : 30 students is the ratio.

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

Placement Experience:

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

It's a good college for me.

Placement Experience:

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

because of future is EV. So I will take the EEE for a bright future 50:1 ratio level. Faculty qualification is a minimum PG and most of the faculties are complete Ph.D. each unit has a unit test it is very easy only No difficulty to get a pass.

For mba they take cat score only and I am not sure of cutoff but it might range between 75 to 80 for general 70 to 75 for ews and obc . NIT Trichy In A Nutshell

I personally am from Maharashtra so for VNIT Nagpur I Would Have Got ECE(HS) But Is Prefered this college for its national importance and name....i Even was getting top maharashtra colleges from MHTCET.....I wasnt Able To Clear The Criteria In JEE Advanced to Get Into IITs And Hence Couldnt Go There....The 2nd paper went terribly wrong for me but now i am happy....We have the match the required criteria in jee mains to get this clg....also 75% in boards is inportant for Gen and OBC and For SC ST it is 65%....Then Go Through a very very long admission process named JOSAA then CSAB(if you want to upgrade your seat) Then Pay The Fees And Report Physically...Read More
