Likes
- The first thing I like is the eco-friendly environment of my college. There is very less pollution.
- The thing for which we are here, placements. Placements are pretty good here.
- Our college give us various opportunities to build our career like management, software, analytics. the student who is in non- circuital branch can also make their career in software, analytics etc.
Dislikes
- The main thing which I dislike here is summer season which is too hot. Basically it is hot throughout the year
- Secondly, there is no good food stalls to eat something good.
- Rules and restrictions are there like we can't go out of the campus after 10 pm.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum of my college is excellent because each course are related to are academics which help us in getting placements. This courses also prepare is for real world applications and we can select any course according to our preference for minor degree. My college needs to improve the teaching method by increasing give more practical knowledge to students rather then given theory knowledge. The frequency and timings of exam are good enough for me to prepare and learn.
Internships Opportunities
I have good internship opportunities from companies like Google, Microsoft, mitacs,tata steel, Infosys,etc.Till the end 90% approx student get the internship from college itself . Projects are according the to company itself.
Placement Experience
From 7 semester students are eligible for placements and our college placements are really good of almost 90 % placements rate. Higeat package vary every year 72-80 lpa as highest and 6 lpa as lowest package of our college. I planned to get placement from college itself after 7 th semester.
Fees and Financial Aid
As a government college fee is high in this college but it offers us many policies to get some benefits like for some students whose family income is less can get institute fee remission. They also provide us information about the scholarships so that students with weeker section can afford fee tk college.Total cost is around 10 lacs for 4 years. Scholarships like FFE, recall helps students by given 40000 , 50000 rupees respectively.
Campus Life
I had ever enjoyed my life as I enjoyed it in my college. I'm very lucky to get into this college.we enjoy so my fests every year like festember held in Feb, pragyan held in March, nittfest, department symposium,etc. we have a great opportunity of sports.there are many grounds to play any sports.one of my friends run his own club in college.
Hostel Facilities
Compare to other colleges hostel ours is good because we have good facilities in there like 24×7 electricity, cleaned bathrooms, full time water services,etc. Meal quality is some what not good but we are okay with that as non of the hostel can make good food as we want . Registration process is quite simple and easy .we have to do everything online and at last we have to submit documents physically. Hostel Rent i am paying in 41900 approx including mess fee
Admission
Admission process of NIT TRICHY was good as it was long process but it is good to avoid fake addmissions. For getting admission we need to crack jee mains cutoff. All the information about the college will get on the college site on google.there is reservation benefits for students from OBC,st ,sc etc. To get into good colleges we have to face difficulty for exam. My college needs to improve the fee payment processors,they hadbto tell us prior about the exact total fee.
Faculty
Faculty are actually good in our college. They teaches us good. Everyone have great experience about their respective subjects. Their way of teaching is good enough but way of teaching of some teachers is not good like some teachers just come and read the PPT . Our interaction with the teachers and approachability is easy.
