Likes

I liked all the festivals that happens annually.
I liked the environment which is always taken care of.
I liked the schedule for each semester which had a lot to do with enjoyment.

Dislikes

The main thing I dislike is curfew for girls.
Also a bit strict with the library timings.

Course Curriculum Overview

As for my metallurgical and materials engineering course, it's very understandable and contains subjects which is related to our life styles. The experiements are fun to enjoy during lab sessions. To my perspective there is no need of any improvements. The frequency and timings of exams are tentative according to the students wish. But within the scheduled week.

Fees and Financial Aid

The tution fees seems to be quite high. As even OBC are feeling difficult to pay. But I feels this is considered better than other colleges. They provide worth facilities for the money. Also they consider all the complaints provided by the students and take actions to rectify them.

Campus Life

Our college has clubs for all kind of activities and students with any kind of interests. We also support students to start their own clubs depending on the benifits. The annual cultural festival is festember and technical fest is Pragyan. There are a hell lot of books in the Library which is easy access to students.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facilities are quite good. But I feel like the mess fees is a bit high which is not worth for the food they provide. But they do have committes to solve the issues faced by students. The facilities are common rooms, washing machines (in particular hostels), basketball court, night canteens, cycle shop, Xerox shop and much more.

Admission

Eligibility for this college is to clear JEE mains exam which will be conducted to students who are in 12th and completed 12th standard. The cutoff for this course was 90 percentile when I was during the admission process. You can opt Josaa website for application related processes.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty to student ratio is good enough to take care of and maintain the students and department. The faculties are very well at teaching. Also some faculties are a bit strict with the attendance thing. Professors are very chill to interact with. I more often interact with my department professors.

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

Placement Experience:

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

It's a good college for me.

Placement Experience:

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

because of future is EV. So I will take the EEE for a bright future 50:1 ratio level. Faculty qualification is a minimum PG and most of the faculties are complete Ph.D. each unit has a unit test it is very easy only No difficulty to get a pass.

NIT Trichy In A Nutshell

I personally am from Maharashtra so for VNIT Nagpur I Would Have Got ECE(HS) But Is Prefered this college for its national importance and name....i Even was getting top maharashtra colleges from MHTCET.....I wasnt Able To Clear The Criteria In JEE Advanced to Get Into IITs And Hence Couldnt Go There....The 2nd paper went terribly wrong for me but now i am happy....We have the match the required criteria in jee mains to get this clg....also 75% in boards is inportant for Gen and OBC and For SC ST it is 65%....Then Go Through a very very long admission process named JOSAA then CSAB(if you want to upgrade your seat) Then Pay The Fees And Report Physically...Read More
