Entrance Preview
I took IIFT entrance exam. Becasue the course curriculum has an international perspective for every functional area, I selected this course. MBA in International Business degree is well recognized by the industry, hence it was my obvious choice.
Course Curriculum Overview
In the 1st Year, all the basics are covered and in the 2nd year, students choose electives on the basis of their interests. Emphasis on Research is less in the academic curriculum. However students take up various research projects offered as live projects by companies.
Internships Opportunities
Every student of the college has to take an internship. The internship stipend ranges from Rs.60000 to Rs. 4.5 lakhs for the entire duration of the internship.

The college offers 100% placements and fortunately for many years Indian Institute of Foreign Trade is known to wrap up its placements earliest in the country.

International Business Summit - Executives from various Industries come and share their insights on the emerging trends.Inter-college competitions: All the Clubs (Marketing, Finance, Operations etc.) organize pan-India competitions Extra-curricular activities - Dance, Drama, Debate, Singing and Sports competitions are organized annually.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is pretty high. Because of this ,students lose the motivation to work on their own startup or try something new. Because of this, during placements some people end up in the jobs they dont really like. The fee for the MBA course is around 15 Lakhs.

Loan facility is very good. All the major banks trust the college students because the assurance comes in the form of 100% placements that college provides. Also, there are scholarships from Aditya Birla Group, Jindal Group etc.
Campus Life
Regularly some or the other student wins a competition and thus others are able to enjoy a party. A lot of guest lectures happen, which provide industry insights and also make the students about the current happenings in the corporate world. The gender ratio is pretty low. Girls form only 20-25% of the batch. However there are students with diverse experiences which enrich the understanding of everyone.
Hostel Facilities
