Unbiased Review of Decent College

My course is Biomedical engineering which involves medical instruments which needs a good knowledge about human physiology and anatomy , and electronics . And the course curriculum is well ordered in terms of learning and developing knowledge and they are quite interesting and difficult at the same time.

Vedanta ,BSP ,Tata ,TCS , Siemens , etc offer internships in core and non core with a decent stipend BUt i am Of biomedical engineering and internships are provided in the local AIIMS Raipur but we can apply in other resarch internships held in other colleges.

The placements oppurtunites are really good and are students are allowed for internships in campus from 3rd year and are offered Pre placement offer if they perform good, and for the main placements 4th year students are eligible. Both core and non core companies come to the college and NIT raipur has also tie up with Bhilai steel plant providing internship and secure jobs with good package , companies like amazon,flipkart, capgemini,Siemens,L&T visit the college. Higehst package was around 55 lpa to two students one of IT and Mining . Average is around 10 lpa .More than 75% get placed and others opt for higher studies and competitive examinations.

Well i have reservation of SC so i dont have to pay tuition fee which is quite great for me according to my background and the scholarships opportunities are provided by the college but i couldnt get the state scholarship two time because the college administration keeps on giving excuses that they dont have a profile in the specific scholarship portal and says it takes time to do all the procedures which has costed me two scholarships in two successive years

Annual fest is Eclectika which is cultural fest organised by sanskriti where there are EDM nights, special themes every year organised during december or january , theres celeb night too . Technical fest is Aavartan organised by technocracy which is largest fest in central neurs are invited to help the students and india which organises national level science fest where many students of other colleges participate for showcasing there innovations. Then There is Avinya by Innovation cell where students shocase there innovations and tech many speakers are invited to give their insights. E- Summit organised by E cell where entrepreneurship is encouraged and guests are invited and many informative sessions are held. SAMAR the sports fest organised by Shourya Committe which is the most lively fest having sports cometitions , other colleges participating in different sports events, battle between different branches in different sports and has really eciting theme every year.

Well to get into this college we need to appear for the JEE examination which is quite difficult i rate it 8/10 , after clearing the exam we need to do counselling which is maintained by JOSAA and need to be very carefull with the choice filling . I opted for the college for my interest in Biomedical engineering and it had a low cutoff in 2022 and I had a reservation of SC with SC rank 7374 and got the college in the second round of counselling and locked it in the 6th round after the counselling , we'll be notified a specific date for physical reporting with all the documents required would be available on NITRR portal and appear in physical reporting which was carried out in a well manner and if we are early to the physical reporting the process will be done very quick.

The faculties of my department are well qualified and encourage us to participate in projects to innovate and develop technology. But we need to work hard to gain their attention. Well it is both faculties and students fault as the syllabus of the course do not complete in the give time period which causes difficulty during the examinations .
