Course Curriculum Overview

Being in ICE dept. curriculum is very well structured, they give proper attention to the ongoing industry scenarios. Faculties always tries to make the curriculum up to date, and just because of this the placements are very good.

Placements are awesome in NIT trichy Data of 2023-24 percentage of placement = 92% Average Package = 18LPA Median Package = 15.6LPA Highest Package = 64LPA students become eligible in 3rd year for PPO and the internships also

tution fees = 125000 hostel fees = 100000 annual charges = 20000 scholarship is given to students whose family income is less than 1 lakh or between 1-5 lakh as per NIT rules below 1 lakh - zero tutuion fees between 1-5 lakh - 1/3rd tution fees

Campus Life

Cultural life is very nice at NITT like the fests here are Festember (Cultural fest), Pragyan (Technical fest), NITTFEST( cultural fest) other clubs like Spider , Delta, RMI, 3D, Aeromodeling they all are awesome

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are not soo good for first years but for 2nd year and onward they are pretty well. same goes for the mess, 1 years cont choose mess but when they go to 2nd year they can take subscription of mess they want

Entrance Exam is JEE Main Councelling is JOSAA or CSAB Cutt off of CSE is 1500 CRL Cut off to get into college with any branch = 20000 CRL Cutt off my ICE(my branch ) is around 13000 CRL Reservation is on the basis of category like EWS OBC SC ST and female quota

The faculty here at NITT is very much good just because most of the Professors have completed their PHD from top NITs or IITs and they have greate demand on their specific feild. Faculty interaction is same as every other High level institute like if you have really some serious work you can consult them

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

because of future is EV. So I will take the EEE for a bright future 50:1 ratio level. Faculty qualification is a minimum PG and most of the faculties are complete Ph.D. each unit has a unit test it is very easy only No difficulty to get a pass.

For mba they take cat score only and I am not sure of cutoff but it might range between 75 to 80 for general 70 to 75 for ews and obc . NIT Trichy In A Nutshell

I personally am from Maharashtra so for VNIT Nagpur I Would Have Got ECE(HS) But Is Prefered this college for its national importance and name....i Even was getting top maharashtra colleges from MHTCET.....I wasnt Able To Clear The Criteria In JEE Advanced to Get Into IITs And Hence Couldnt Go There....The 2nd paper went terribly wrong for me but now i am happy....We have the match the required criteria in jee mains to get this clg....also 75% in boards is inportant for Gen and OBC and For SC ST it is 65%....Then Go Through a very very long admission process named JOSAA then CSAB(if you want to upgrade your seat) Then Pay The Fees And Report Physically...Read More
