- Lack of communication or transparency from the administration
- In every hostels wifis will be there but hardly 4 or 5 rorors works in every floor
- There is no transportation facility inside the campus
Course Curriculum Overview
I'm doing electrical and electronics engineering in nit trichy. our curriculum is very well designed and I think their is no need to make any changes to that and the college timings are also very convenient.it is from morning 8:30 to 12:10.
Internships Opportunities
From 5th semester onwards you can sit for internships and almost every company that comes for placements also comes for internships. and if you get selected you will get a descent stipend and it depends on the company and your domain.
Placement Experience
from the 5th semester onwards students are eligible to sit for internships and from the 7th semester, they are eligible to sit for campus placements.highest package will be around 50lpa and average will be around 12lpa.around 95% of students get placed
Fees and Financial Aid
tuition fees per semester: 62500 hostel and mess fees per semester: 42000 (varies from batch to batch) scholarships: there are so many scholarships available offered by the alumni. Placements: NIT Trichy has descent placements among all domains.overall average pacage will be around 12lpa.
Campus Life
there will be so many student run clubs in campus and if you are interested in those clubs you can apply for the inductions.and they will take personal interviews and if you are good enough then you will be selected.
Hostel Facilities
in hostel, they will provide wifi facility and you will also get the washing machines and their will be hot water facility for the bathing purposes and their will be normal,cold and hot water to drink.
Admission
To get into NIT Trichy, you have to write JEE Mains and you should score good enough to get into the college. cutoffs varies from branch to branch and the category to category. if you are from the general category you should score at least 96 percentile to get into this college
Faculty
The faculty-to-student ratio in nit trichy is 1:11 currently and I think it was a great number. half of the faculty members hold a PhD. Their way of teaching is really good and impressive, they make concepts easy to understand. You can interact with faculties at any time in their respective blocks and you can get to clarify your doubts very easily.
