A college review

Since our college has gained autonomous status previous year, so they are following the same anna University course with slight modifications in the course syllabus. They will provide lab session for some subjects and they are not so effective as long as we are keen to learn.

The college needs every student to take internship and valuable courses that can support their portfolio. They also provide intership in 3rd and 4th year of studies. They also support the students to take more projects and work on them.

Currently i am not a final year student. But if you are the kind of student who learns more in self and develope ur skills up to date can be surely placed. Since now is the recession time and the tech field is manipulated by AI the placement requires more skilled ones and a guy who can communicate well. If u can able to have that both then no need to worry about placements. They will also provide all the paths to succeed and we have to use it .

The tuition fee as per my batch is upto 1.5 L for the non first graduate students but when u are a first graduate then they will reduce 25 k and so the fee will be 1.25 L and if u are hostel student, the hostel fee will be 75k.

The college has now started to concentrate on conducting more events like culturals and more webinars and symposiums. There are almost nearly 7 clubs for entertainment and they are mostly taken control by our students, only the management of those clubs is by faculties. The sports are not much supported as per my view.

The hostel which is within the campus is good for the reasonable fees.But due to the excessive admission of students in the previous year,the hostel can't hold all those students. So they are preparing some new hostel for them.The mess food is completely veg and they provide only eggs. They provide snacks at 4 to 5 pm and also they provide tea on the exam times in late night.

The admission to the college is through the tamilnadu engineering councelling which is applied by ur 12 th marks.The application form can be found in their official website.If you are the high cutoff student then u can also avail for reduction in fees which can be clarified in administrative office.

The faculty support of RIT Chennai, has been good as there many student friendly teachers whom will give proper guidance if we approach them.Most of the faculties are assistant professors and have some experienced professors too. The interaction with maximum faculty is easier and more useful.
