Course Curriculum Overview
I had chosen Computer Engineering as my course which is because I am passionate about Mathematics and Computing and it prepares me very well for the upcoming tough AI market. However I sometimes feel that there are some scope of improvement in the course or curriculum regarding the current scenarios in the market arising due to AI technologies. There are some subjects in my course which I feel make no sense like Chemistry, Human values. Exams occur in every one and a half month and they possess a moderate to tough level.
Internships Opportunities
Companies like Celebel technologies, Flipkart and Infosys offer various internship roles with stipends of approximately 15000 per month. Apart from that college itself provide some internship roles as well. Projects like Library management system, digital wheelchairs are prepared under such internships.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible after sixth semester for campus placements. Companies like Celebel technologies, Infosys, Wipro visit the college. Highest package was 42 lakhs per annum, placed in Flipkart. Approximately 90 percent students get placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
Tuition fee is increased after the NAAC accredition of the college which I feel is ok as they usually increase the fee after NAAC accredition. Complete cost of the course ranges from somewhere 105000 to 120000 approximately. There is a TFWS scholarship for outstanding result holders on the basis of senior secondary results like 12th.
Campus Life
Annual fest is AAROHAN which helds in month of February or March and the technical fest is AADHAR which is also held in the same period as that of the annual fest. College library is enriched with course materials as well as extra curricular materials. Sport activities are somewhat I feel are out of reach for some students. There are various clubs in the college.
Admission
You should have atleast 75 percentage in the 12th boards examination in order to be eligible for the course as per my knowledge. The application forms can be found out on REAP website as the college is affiliated to RTU. Exams are moderate to tough leveled and occur once in one and a half month.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is 1:60 which I think is good as the teacher can pay attention to the needed one along with the other students as well. The faculties over here are qualified and are accessible outside the class as well for doubts or for any other academic issues.
