Good College

AVIT, it is a nice engineering college. it has very enthusiastic and student-friendly college management.

this college is good for the student which has the desire to study with not enough money. faculties are friendly and helping of nature, having a nice library, gymnasium, and sports ground. one of the best parts about it, it has an excellent hostel in its campus itself.

I pursued B.E Mechanical engineering. its course is basically on manufacturing and industrial needs. so colleges offer four year of course which has eight semesters and every semester, there would be five subjects for theory papers and three lab papers. first one year, the basic & fundamental thing would teach, and during the second & third year, only core subjects were taught and so many workshops, symposium and seminars were held. so many industrial visits and training had to go. in the final year , students would focus on project , research papers etc.

yeah! it provides internship programs even during third year itself, college arranges the internship program with so many manufacturing companies, during interns, generally 8,000 to 9,000 etc. would offer.

AVIT, it creates job opportunity in small companies, in the last four years I have been seeing almost all students from the department of mechanical engineer got placed in small companies. even from other department students got a job in small companies and industries.

there are so many events which are celebrated in AVIT college. like cultural programs, national & international seminars, symposiums, etc. cultural festivals come they celebrate it. time to time, people from outside from states and countries come and give the lectures, do the programs.

AVIT college is for those students who do not have more money but the desire for higher education. it offers the low-cost fee structure, as below mentioned. tuition fee = 40,000 per semester. miscegenous fee = 15,000 per annum. exams fee = 3,000 - 4,000 per semester. hostel fee = 65,000 per annum ( including Laundry charge) therefore, around 2,00,000 per annum ( including All charges)

yeah! I have to get the scholarship in both the last years. according to the merit lists of the department, they give scholarship as well as according to the 12th marks they provide a scholarship. they will give you a bonafide certificate for applying for the loans and for other government schemes.

about campus life, it has been a great experience. throughout the academic year, many more sports competitions, debates, extracurricular activities were held. in mechanical department extremely poor gender ration of girls. in the department, girls were in more number.

I love the hostel facilities of AVIT college, it is really excellent facilities. I have seen so many hostels but the hostel facilities of AVIT is college is incredible. I have been residing in the hostel for Four years. very nice cleaning, nice room, beds, tables, almirah, washrooms cleaning, everything is excellent. south and north foods are availed in the mess, the quality of the food is very nice. I would give 5 out of 5 for the hostel and mess foods.

yeah! seniors are friendly over there, they are helping in nature. whatever helps we needed they always helped us.

In AVIT, Exams are structured as periodical tests and semester exams, in a semester, there would be two periodical assessment tests and one model tests. and thereafter final semester exams start. in a semester, every end of the month preodical assessment tests held. and at the end of the semester, final semester exams will be held.

I went to the college office located in Kilpatrick, Chennai, which is nearby Chennai central railway station. over there, they asked all the documents of the previous 10th & 12th certificates, mark sheets, migrations etc. and they gave me time for reporting the college on the inauguration day. they called me for reporting the college. therefore I had been allotted registration number, admission cards and all.

in AVIT college, the faculties are good qualified and student-friendly, they teach very well. they have good knowledge of the subjects which there are assigned to teach. faculty members, HODs, a principle they all are very interested in the student benefit.
