Likes
- The campus is good. It is great for leisurely roaming as it is big and beautiful. The canteen is good and so are the ground and the labs. The infrastructure is good and more is still being created
- The placement cell provides full support for placement as well as options if someone wants to pursue some other career choice.
- The social interactions in college are good and it is easy to make friends
Dislikes
- The teachers are OK but majority of the studying is to be done by the student on their own
- The internal marks given to students are almost always low.
- Living around the college might prove to be costly for some but it is normal for here
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is based on AKTU syllabus. The syllabus itself is a little outdated but the college has no control over it. The college conducts some specialized trainings for skills in the job market.
Internships Opportunities
There are minimal internships available with the college. The majority of companies that come for internships are during final year. All internship opportunities are to be found by the students themselves. The college is somewhat hesitative in giving permission for doing internship
Placement Experience
Placements for CS-allied branches are good. Since the markets are down, the placements are low at 65-70%. Many companies like Accenture, KPMG etc. have visited the college and there have also been offers of 14-20 lpa.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is fixed and is given at the start of the the course. The fee increment is minimal to none. The scholarships are given by the state and national government. There are also opportunities to give training to junior students for the college itself.
Campus Life
The fests in college have been few. These fests are a little lackluster because of the regulations on social interactions during these. The library is good. There are multiple clubs each concerned with different aspects, such as technology, sports, literature etc.
Hostel Facilities
One can register for hostel at the time of admission. The hostel fees is around equal to the academic fees per year. However, this fees is more likely to get revised more frequently. The food served in mess is good. The surrounding areas of crossing republik have a lot of accomodation facilities with multiple rooms and PGs.
Admission
The admissions are done on the basis of JEE marks and the josaa councelling. The reservation benefits are according to the regulations of NTA. The percentile for admissions are less than those required to get into IIITs and NITs.
Faculty
Each class hai 50-60 students. The faculty-student interaction happens probably once a day. The faculty is always available for addressing student issues. Each teacher either has a Ph.D. or is pursuing one. Teachers are easily approchable.
Interview Experience
There are no extra tests, interviews or group discussions when taking admission in the college. The process followed at the time of admission is fee payment and ID card creation. There are group discussions for MBA admissions though.
