Likes

The coding culture of IIIT bhopal is amazing. Everybody here knows a lot about tech.
Institute give extra time for students so can do intership programs and other personal growth.
Good cultural fest and an happy and vibrant environment.

Dislikes

No campus life at all, it feels like going to school.
Teachers are very cruel, they do not complete the syllabus.
Exams are more often conducted in this institute.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course and curriculum is like nit and not iiit . They teach you engineering physics,maths and engineering drawing which I dotn find to be good for an software engineer, the syllabus is a big chunk .

Intership programs are good. Several companies like Amazon Flipkart Accenture atlassian and many other come in our college for recruitment. Placement cell in our college is very active and work towards.

Placement Experience

Campus placement in our college is good and is growing in upcoming years. Average package in our college is around 20 lpa and is expecting a hike in this number after the recession comes slow in the market.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are very less availability of scholarship but if you are from Madhya Pradesh you will be enjoying 100% fee waivers. Free education. Fees of this institute is pretty much high and you can't figure out where this money is spending.

Campus Life

There is no campus,.so there is no campus life , people here often complain about the campus but it's not possible. Once we will get the campus then we will talk about the campus likfe. It feels school.

Admission

I passed jee main and jee advanced exam and got 30000 rank and got admission to this college. I was obc though still I would have get this college being general. Admission process was smooth but hostel availability was big problem

Faculty

Faculty here is mostley appointed by its parent college manit Bhopal , some of the faculty are average at teaching while some are very helpful and hard working, labs are conducted as a formality with no interest in teachers.

VIT Bhopal: A decent college for your needs

Placement Experience:

after the completion of third year students become eligible for campus placements companies which visit are infosys cisco tata amazon and many more highest package for 2024 was 52 lpa and the average package is 11 LPA 60-70% students gget placed after my degree i plan to get a solid 9-5 job earning a decent living of my life and serving my parents

One becomes eligible for college placements if he/she in their third or fourth year. The number of companies visits are great like Microsoft, JP Morgan Chase &Co. , Atlassian etc. These are the good companies which offers great placements. The percentage of students placed are about 85%. My plans after getting a degree is I'll move in tech based companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Jiwaji is Government university which have a long heritage. But is now coming to the short end of the rope. Institute of Engineering Jiwaji is fairly newly established around 20 to 30 years or so. The faculty is not that great and is not that experienced and have less facilities. Faculty of IEJU is mostly on temporary payroll with some of the permanent faculty. You have entire leasure of time to yourself. So, thing other than couese can be pursued. Hostel facilities are good. If we come to exams Other than Pharmacy and Engineering all other course have tomoy scheduled exams with strict checking and scoring.

Remarks:

My college comes under Institute of National importance,it has amazing placement,the students in this college are very intelligent as everyone joins after qualifying one of the toughest exam JEE advance, college has beautiful campus and has well equipped labs and also hasquite low fee compared to other colleges.

REVIEW OF IIIT BHOPAL

I got CSE here and college is near my hometown thats why i choose this college . i could not make to other college because of not having enough rank to get my desired branch . admission process is normal it will take one or two days depending on which day you came here . admission process is like everything is step by step . i have applied to iiit alllahbad gwalior lucknow and jawalpur but i did not get there because my rank is not enough to get that colleges . my admission is done based on jee mains examination and the cutoff for gen category for cse core is something about 9 7.5percentile or under 35000 rank in jee mains . admission process include submission of documents then verification of documents then fees submission then getting admission slip then hostel and mess fees submission . overall admission process is decent , at my time it had take one full day to get admission slip....Read More
