UBS is undoubtedly one of the oldest and best MBA institutes with very high return on investment. Low-stress level. It is a good choice than many private colleges.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is on very similar lines to IIMs or other reputable institutions. The exam pattern is also good. Students get some sort of exam every month this helps them study and learn throughout the year. Other than this your own effort to read more and more is needed as in every other good institute.
College Events
Pu in itself is a long and never-ending eventful place. Ever day month and week something is going on. People collaborate with students from laws, media dept. Eng dept technology dept and what not. There are plathora of opportunities to learn and excel.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The best part is you need not to think of any sponsorships, loans, scams etc. The tuition fees are as low as 11000 per semester. They will give you books, placements everything in approx 40000 per year. You need not to worry for hostels they are super cheap. The infra might feel old but it is more than sufficient. I paid 5200 per semester as hostel fee. Even the food was subsidized. What more is needed.
Campus Life
PPTs, blackboards, videos, etc., are some of the methods that are used for teaching. There are 26 faculty members and 140 students in a year of MBA. Industry exposure is also adequate. There are many guest lectures that we don't want to attend. 33-35% of the batch were females. Events and fests of PU are always organized in our college. Students can get a great campus life. Our college is located in a beautiful city, Chandigarh. The fee is negligible.
Alumni/Alumna
Our college provides high-speed Wi-Fi facility and AC classrooms, and thanks to our alumni association. There is a hospital in our university. There is an infrastructure of all the sports in university. Food served in the student's center is delicious and cost-effective. Hostels are super low priced. Our infrastructure looks old, but it is more than appropriate. The alumni association is working since 1983. Highly supportive. In all spheres.
Admission
The admission process is fairly simple. Apply online. Get a good cat score. Get shortlisted. Go for Gd and PI. Do well there. Get the admission. Though the process is simple the competition is not the same. Cat score is given high weightage too.
