IGNOU BCA (BEST UNIVERSITY FOR DISTANCE)

college is good. Management is also good. They guide you properly about the course fee structure. But only the bad thing about the college is 'SYLLABUS'. They are following a very old syllabus which is now useless at this time (in IT)

In IGNOU BCA is a 3-year course (consisting of 6semester) Fee of each sem was 5000/- and plus You have to pay 120/- for each subject for the examination (suppose you have 5 subjects in theory and 1 in practical so you have to pay 6 X 120 = 720/- with filled examination form) you can now fill the examination form through Online mode. Exams are Held in the month of June & December(Theory) and July & January(Practical). The course of BCA is very helpful. You can get so much knowledge. But Exam is a little bit tough

Not good. Placements for BCA students are not good because companies which come in college are recruiting students for BPO, Sales, Backend Profile which is completely different from the course. I was not satisfied with this type of Job profile for an IT student.

well, It's totally based upon your study center that the university allotted you a study center to study over there so its depend upon your study center what type of events they celebrate. In my study center, there were so many events that were celebrated. sports day Annual day IT Hub day(in which so many professionals came and discuss various technology)

It was good. There were 2 days classes in a week in which on Saturday there was a theory class and on Sunday there was a practical class ( classes of theory and practical totally depend upon the study center). If I talk about the gender ratio. the ratio of boys is more than girls.

Yes. They were very helpful. I am still in contact with my seniors, time to time they keep guiding me about the career and when I was in last semester they completely guide about the last sem project.

I got admission in this college by offline mode in the year 2015 while admission process I have to keep my Admission form (which I took from the college brochure), all Documents(photograph,10th & 12th mark sheet and certificate) and a filled ID card (from the brochure) with me. After all these things with me I stood up in a queue that I submitted all these things to the person who is sitting in the window and then after he checked all the documents, all the documents were proper and then he put a stamp on the id card and gave it to me. So my admission was successfully done. In IGNOU admission take place in 2 months of the year one is in the month of August and other is in the month of January

They were good. They help students when students need, they properly guide you about the assignments. They help you to do practical and prepare for the practical viva. If any doubt occurs student ask with the faculty and faculty properly guide them.
