Likes
- The surrounding full of greenery is really relaxing here and it is maintained quite well.
- The infrastructure is good, the classes are have pretty space for students and arrangement are good
- More and most importantly the teaching staff and seniors are so supportive and experienced here and they help a lot
Dislikes
- There are only few things to be disliked but here are some including water quality of water purifier
- Not proper maintenance of washroom like not cleaning time to time also discontinuous water supply
- Benches and tables are not cleaned on a regular basis.
Course Curriculum Overview
Having interest in maths and curiosity in computer programming made me choose this course which I am glad that I choose. The curriculum here of the course is designed according to our course that help us a lot in knowing and experimenting with different things.
Internships Opportunities
Our teachers provide us different intership information to us and projects for us. As of now I am not doing any internships because I am doing courses to improve different skills that will eventually provide me benefits in future internships.
Placement Experience
Campus placements are good here many know companies come. TCS employed most of the student from our college. I am not sure about the highest package here but it might me 15 lakh per annum. Around 70 % students get placed from each batch. But they can call other more companies for placement
Fees and Financial Aid
Tuition fee here is affordable for all and is much more efficient for middle class families to afford like mine. Also the college provides various scholarships for students who are in need and they do send information regarding other scholarship that are provided by government and different private institutions which has helped a lot of students. And companies are pretty good for campus placement.
Campus Life
The annual fest of our college SSTC is SAMVID which is a 3 day long techo cultural and sports fest including various technical events and cultural events like dance battle, singing competition and modeling and many more and sports events too. Library has a quite good range of books that help students alot. Our college also conducts different extracurricular activities time to time. Also our college has different clubs as per student interest like Swang the drama club, volleyball club which i am a part of, dance, singing, photography, management clubs and many more.
Admission
There is an entrance exam CGPET conducted by Chhattisgarh government for admission in engineering colleges here. I did qualified the entrance exam with good percentile and rank. I scored 1500th position in this exam which got me the seat in Computer science in SSTC. Admission process was to clear the exam with good grades and rank then a councelling was held in which we had to fill our college and course preference and according to our ranks college seats were alloted.
Faculty
As talking about the faculty here there are no negative feedback for them. Each and every faculty members are highly qualified professionals. Also each of them are very supportive and friendly, they teach in a very effective manner and also guide us regarding various internships and courses.. They help us a lot.
