Review about my college

Overall in college, any management is pretty strict when it comes to clothing and other aspects. But eventually gives a greater Insight to the practical world and helps you nurture as a person.

The course followed by the institute is that given by the MG University. The course structure is pretty simple and easy to learn. The exam structure is also decent and not very strict when it comes to internals. External examinations involve pretty strict invigilation. The course curriculum had given certain practical insights but could definitely do more.

Placements in our college are not up to the mark. Only one or two known companies would visit the campus like Wipro. Recently local Keralaite companies visited the campus providing not very promising jobs. Also for internship companies like hedge are often. The package provided by them is decent but one could definitely expect more.

This is the most fun part of the college because we celebrate tons of events and festivals also. The very famous Teresian week happens every year in November which gives all the vibe of being a teresian. Also, events like a kaleidoscope that is the fashion show and several fests are organized which gives a number of opportunities in the co-curricular field. Auditions for films and ads would take place giving exposure to the students in the film industry.

I being a day scholar had to invest 40000 a year for the course. Other expenses were just food and traveling which was cheap. The college would issue concession cards that would allow us cheap traveling. I was not hostility hence have no idea about the hostel fees.

Have not availed for any scholarship as such. But there are certain awards and cash prize for people who excel in the academic field.

Campus life was pretty boring for me maybe because it is a Women's College. But the extracurricular activities like dance fashion shows give great exposure. Other competitions like debates recitations speeches quiz would be conducted very often by different departments and give us an exercise of the studious brain.

The alumni Network and the senior students were very helpful as they would come in the college for various events and support the juniors and the students in every possible way.

The very first process was filling the application form for the college around May. And then the admission process would start in June first week. It would involve a small meeting with the admission crew and then making the principal and the director. The admission is based mainly on merit basis and also at times donation when merit does not satisfy. The classes will start around June last week.

Talking about the faculty particularly of my department that is the commerce department self-finance is very good. The teachers in there a very supportive and friendly. They give us proper instructions and help us in every possible way. And I'm sure the faculty of other departments are equally good and supportive.
