Remarks

I completely agree with the tagline ‘learn from everything you can see, hear and feel, not restricted to books alone.’ So when you have a particular lesson being taught in class, it’s not just the subject or the chapter alone, its also knowledge being imparted to the students that will help them in their everyday life. Institute does not believe in bookish knowledge or rote learning methods, but understanding a concept, and applying it effectively in any daily chore. Those who are thinking about VIT, go for it. But compare to % level students may try for other colleges also.

Placement Experience

3.5

Placements in the college are quite decent. Competition is a little on the tougher side for placements, but then competition is there everywhere. The median salary package offered is good enough. This field and this sector are on the developing stage in India.

College Events

4.5

In terms of cultural activity & other activities energy of college is pretty high. Newly college has started new yoga sessions on a daily basis. Activities like the cultural day, flickrfest (short film festival) & other activities are a good initiative by faculty & college. It really helps for personal growth.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees structure based on institute level & University level is different. For the year 2018-2019: Fees was RS. 25971 (students who fall under caste)

Fees and Financial Aid

Not taken any education loan. So basically no idea about it. But those who are looking for this option can go with different schemes by UGC or any other banks.

Campus Life

4.5

The Institute is affiliated to the University of Mumbai and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). VIT is awarded “A Grade” by the Government of Maharashtra. All the faculty members of the Institute are well-qualified and well-experienced in both teaching and industrial area. At present, the Institute provides both UG and PG programs in the different area of Engineering and Technology. It also offers the doctoral level (Ph.D.) program in Engineering field with the specialization of Computer Science and Engineering. Vidyalankar Institute of Technology has a world-class infrastructure with all the modern facilities including a Library, Laboratory, Auditorium, Sports and Canteen.

Alumni/Alumna

Personally, I didn't have any contact with alumni but seniors are very helpful and enthusiastic. They are ready for help anytime.

Admission

DTE cap round (All information regarding cap round is available on all educational sites). Students also have the option of the institution-level round.

Faculty

4.5

Faculty members of the college are well qualified. They're helpful outside the classrooms also. They encourage us to work hard and not give up. The projects, assignments, presentations, and internships (both winters and summers) are provided. The curriculum is updated according to the recent requirements in the market. Visiting faculty members are super awesome & knowledgeable. They provide a world-class education. The ambiance of the college is very good and energetic.

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.
