Course Curriculum Overview
Recently BTEUP ( Board of technical education UttarPradesh ) has updated our Course Curriculum which made our college's academic curriculum more productive. New subjects are introduced such as Pharmaco therapeutics, Hospital Pharmacy, Pharmacology which made our relevancy even better with real world applications.
Internships Opportunities
CIpla, Mankind, Alkem, Zydus, Nestle and many more global pharmaceutical firms comes every year to hire one of the best students in the state. We also get 90 days hospital training under supervision of Chief medical officer in any of the Primary health care centres and hospitals.
Placement Experience
PSIT is widely known for its placements with almost 90% students placed in Multinational Companies and Pharmaceutical Firms who didn't get any back logs and have more than 60% marks in the finals. After getting my Diploma I am willing to work in Primary Healthcare Centres as a Pharmacist.
Fees and Financial Aid
Basic fees including tuition fees, service fees, university fees and other charges for D Pharma in PSIT is 90000 per year i.e. 180000 for 2 years course. Whereas hostel fees is around 88000 per year wih canteen, Wifi and AC rooms facilities. For scholarship and financial assistance, you can only apply under Uttar Pradesh Scholarship Scheme. There is no provision under PSIT college.
Campus Life
Three years of college teach me a lot in various aspects efficiently and effectiviely. I had experienced some kind of responsibilty and realizes financial freedom. I observes the value of skills and practical approach over subject learning and pessimistic approach.
Admission
Anyone can pursue Dpharma after 12th(Science). There are two ways in order to get admission in PSIT kanpur:- Firstly You have to apply for JEECUP entrance exam and to score projected marks to get this college in counselling. Or you can take direct admission by quallifying a written test and Personal Interview round in PSIT's admission cell.
Faculty
Good quality of teachers:- Mostly professors are excellent in their respective fields and have great subject knowledge. They are also very supportive and lenient in nature. They always give extra time to students who are getting poor marks.
Interview Experience
Yes, My personal interview round is conducted by The Dean of my college. He asked me several question regarding subjective knowledge and the reason why I am choosing this course. In order to clear these rounds I just revise all of my basics only.
