Honest review about MIT (mahe)

- I'm really into automobile industry so that's why I chose this course - it is my first year so all the courses are same for us but mechanical course is very interesting - teachers are being more practical rather than just projecting things from there computer - be more interactive with students - mid terms are late but end semester exams we hardly get a month time to prepare

- first year fees are same for all but from the second year the selected branch you have they have different fees structure for different branches for my branch it is something around 3.5lakhs rupees a year

- fests are a banger in our college, we have fests frequently in our college and it is very good almost all the festivals are celebrated here - books in the library are good and related to your course which is helpful and easy to find - facilities provided in classroom are basic nothing special - sports are a main reason you should join this college there are multiple sports and sports such as boxing are also promoted here - if you are in clubs or are running a club it is very beneficial for you as you get a alot of benefits in that and moreover you get even extra time apart from classes so you can pursue it

- room facilities is good in our hostel but few hostels are very bad but apparently our hostel is nice and you get almost everything but unfortunately I don't have AC in my room but if AC would have been there this room would have been perfect - meals are nice somthing meals are very bad that you you just throw them away - getting a hostel here is very tough as they rooms are less and students are more - coin circle is a place which is very near to our college and at a nice location and everything available

- branches like AI had a very high cut off but few branches like civil and automobile has cut off around 45000 - application can be found online and difficult is moderate for the entrance exam and it's little bit difficult to get branches like AI or computer science

- faculty ratio is very high as in our class only there is 106 students and it becomes really difficult for the teachers to handle few naughty students - most of the teachers are really good and few of have this discrimination against north Indian and in general they are really rude - to interact with teachers is really easy if you want to meet them personally you can what's app them or call them they are always ready to help you

There was no interview round for us it was just online exam. If you clear the online exams having the required rank for the selected course you can then just get admission in our college. I think they should even have interview round as it will short list good students and have a better students in our campus
