Vishwa karma - A new journey

The courses which are being taught to us, help in building a base of upcoming technology and understanding the concept at ground level. The lab session helps in performing the theoretical session into practicals. The relevance of course is there to date and gonna be the building block of the upcoming core subjects of the IT field.

The scholarship are given to students through ews ,digital gujarat scheme. The students who are from other places,such as jammu are given scholarship upto 1 lakhs .The per semester fee is 1500 rupees and exam is also same .The hostel fees is 1200 rupees per sem and food is 50 rupees per plate in the mess.The placement of vgec is remarkable, it's 2nd most famous college of gujarat.so definitely it's placement ratio is huge,people get 10 lpa placement as well.They many tech gaints come here for recruitment such as tcs and other.

The college has its volleyball court and badminton court where the students whole day practice their respective sport.There are many groups there such as robotic group, theatrical groups .The theatrical college has recently performed a drama at prestigious hall of ahemdabad. The volleyball team has also won many inter college tournaments and the cricket is a huge thing in the college. All the classrooms have their own projector on which subjects are being teached by professors and they have expertise in performing the things.The media team of vgec is really awesome, they capture all the events that occurred in the college whether it is navratri or holi.The college organised event such as SHIP the tech event and the vishwa karma kalautsav where the students performance singing, drama,guitar.The college every year helds Vishwa karma Cup where it has games such as volleyball, cricket, chess and so on.

To get admission you need to get at least 2000 ranka and under it . The rankings are based on GSEB and the gujcet ratio also matters. The GSEB and gujcet ratio is 60:40 for the year 2022 . The reservation also comes into play here.If you have reservation then you will most have chance of getting placed in the IT department. The exams are mid sem ,which are college level exam and then the final GTU exams, which are term-end exams.You have to pass in both examinations .The mid sem and GTU exams occurs,once per sem and fees of the GTU examination is 1500. If you failed then the reassessment fees is 250 and rechecking fees is 150. The GTU level exam is much more easier than mid sem college exams.

The first interaction with teachers happened during sem 1 orientation days .The students are divided into batches so that there is no load on one teacher alone.The timetable is set in such a way that ,the all batches have their lab session once in a week and during the lecture ,the whole class sits together. The faculty is really interactive with students and inspite of being government college, they maintain the attendance list of students and regular emails are sent to them.so that students maintain their attendance in the lectures. Most of teachers have done their masters degree and are highly qualified. The teaching method are also amazing and understandable. Teachers always solve doubt of students and conducted small qna during lecture session about previous lectures, so that also helps in recaping previous lecture details of topic.
