Galgotias college

I love my college it has really very good environment. I will give advice to all the students who are to get admission in the college that you should come to this college.

I think the course curriculum is fine not so good because the college is affiliated to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam technical university which is a govt. university. So, due to it, the syllabus is quite old but all over the curriculum is good. As well as the exam pattern is also fine, it has two sessional and one pre-university test before the semester exam.

The college has a different department for the placements known as CPDD. Placement is average for the mechanical and civil department while the placement for computer science is very good. Students have to do internships on their own basis.

Some of the events that are celebrated in my college are unifest,inter-college sports championship, Kavi sammelan and etc. Unifest is the annual function of the college which is celebrated in the month of March every year. And in the inter-college sport's championship different college participated in the different sports.

The fee structure is 121903 in the second, third and final year while in the first year it was 132903. Actually in the second, third and final year 114403 is a tuition fee while 7500 is the university fee. While in the first year 114403 was tuition fee and 7500 is examination fee and 10000 is security money which is refundable with the degree.

Actually, I got a scholarship from the Uttar Pradesh Govt. every year. It is quite easy to get the scholarship, you have to fill the application form and submit in college with all the required documents but you have to fulfill the eligibility criteria for it.

Campus life is very much cool and interesting because there is no foundation to take the classes compulsory but remember that you have to fulfill the criteria of 75 percent attendance. There is no dress code. All the labs in college are very good and it has all the machines which are essential for experiments. There is also the competition of robots known as ROBO RACE. And for debates and all that a club of literature is there in college.

Actually, seniors did not frustrate you. There is little problem of seniors not interacting with the juniors. They will not talk to you till you try to contact them.

Actually, I got in this college by giving an entrance exam UPSEE(Uttar Pradesh state entrance examination). The exam was in April 2015 and after that result got declared on May 2015. After the result, then according to rank, I got this college through the counseling.

Actually, the faculty of the college is awesome. Most of the faculties have a good qualification as well as they are very much friendly to the students. They are very much helpful. All the faculties have a different cabin to sit, so due to its students got easy in finding the faculty and to solve their problem with the help of faculty.
