HBTU: A transformational journey

The course curriculum is very well defined and it is designed for the industries. The B. TECH food technology is the branch of engineering, which is modernizing the indian food market. The course curriculum covers the areas of the Entrepreneurship, New Product development, sensory checking, quality checking and more. The laboratories of food department are very well made and in good working conditions.

The department of food technology provides the internship supports. Almost everyone gets the internships very easily. You can get internships in multi national companies like Nestle, Mondelez, Carlsberg, Pernod Richard, UB, and many more. You will be getting a real-time industrial projects during your internships. The placements are good. You will be eligible for the placements from the 7th semester. The eligibility criteria for the placements is 6.5 CGPA, and no active backlogs. The entire course curriculum fees is around 145000 Rs. And in which there is 10000 Rs amount which is refundable after completion of B. TECH. There is 1500 Rs for the training and placement cell in the final year. There is a scholarship provided by UP Government which is 55,000Rs to the general category students.

The Life at HBTU is very good. Here is good exposure which you could by the sub-councils, clubs, associations, and departmental events are there. Fests are there which is organised by student committee like there is NSS Youth Festival, Hunkar, Adhyaay, Technika. These all sub-councils are run by students.

Harcourt Butler Technical University is one of the best Institute in India for engineering, mba, BCA. It takes the admission on the Basis of JEE mains rank for B. TECH and CAT score the MBA, GATE SCORE for Masters and NET JRF for Phd and Nimcet for MCA. There is a 3 round of online counseling procedure for the B. TECH counseling and there is a reservational quotas for the EWS, SC, ST students.

The faculties at HBTU are highly qualified and they have good teaching experience. All the faculties have PhD degrees in their respective fields.
