Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum includes 3 field works, IFS, VFS and SiS and the teaching methodology followed is case study based which helps in understanding concepts from life life scenarios. The attendance percentage is 80% currently and we have relative grading which increases competition among students

Placement Experience

Students will get summer placements after 3rd term and final placement will happen around 4th term during January to February. IRMA has good relationship with top recruiters like TATA, Adani, ITC, AMUL etc.. and also several development organizations including NDDB , NGOs are coming for the placements. IRMA is maintaining a record of 100 % placements so far

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for 2 years is around 16 lakhs. Yes , they do provide scholarships based on the category as well as the merit. NSP is not applicable as the course is PGDM and not PG. Institute has a good reputation in the market and hence it is easy to avail bank loans from several banks

Campus Life

There are several clubs and committees in which students can join and experiment their interest. Each club and committee will have their unique set of events and cultural committee will make sure to celebrate different regional festivals from all the states.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities are good and we got single occupancy room for every one, there are several hostel blocks named after the English alphabets. The last built one is Q. Food is decent and hygiene. Mess menu tries to include food from all the states.

Hostel Fee: INR 120000 per year

Admission

We need to clear CAT and then a written ability test followed by Personal Interview ( online / offline ). Previous IRMA had its own entrance exam but now they discontinued it. They are also accepting XAT, CMAT

Faculty

Yeah, Faculty here are well qualified. Most of them from IIMs and IITs. But we have visiting faculty for some courses. But the knowledge and expertise of staff are wonderful. A VERY nice place to learn about rural India and becoming a rural manager

Interview Experience

There will personal interview either online or offline and the interviewer will mostly try to find whether our values are aligning with the values of the institute. We got questions like why IRMA ? Why Rural Management? Etc....

Supportive faculty with good infrastructure

Placement Experience:

After 3rd semester in MBA students became eligible for the campus placements. In BBA the students became eligible after the 5th sem. Companies such as kotak bank, Yes bank, motilaloswal, Niva Bhupa, polycab, L&T, and adani. Highest package is 12 lakhs and average package 3.5 lakh 95 Percent students get placed. Doing job as per my specialisation.

Placement Experience:

I chose this course because I found the major very interesting which is family business and entrepreneurship. The faculty here is very supportive and knowledgeable. The faculties are mostly PhDs from top universities across the world.

The IRMAn experience

I belong to general category my cat percentile was 91% and I had converted in the first shortlist itself. The application will be released short after the CAT results on Irma website. Cat exam is conducted a year then the application received and cut off is issued and thereafter there is a Online written ability test and Interview which is now conducted offline.
