Likes
- The campus life and social life inside the campus was amazing.They also have culturals fests like dhruva which was quite enjoyable.Many VIPs arrived and it was a hell out of fun.
- The course itself was superb and I choose BE. Electrical and Electronics Engineering because I had interest in core related jobs. This college provided me that course and also have good teaching faculties.
- The placement is also good. They provide huge placement opportunities from many recruiters like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, etc.
Dislikes
- The placement is only provided for it related departments and the core related departments are also forced to join in IT companies. I am unsatisfied because of this behaviour.
- The hostel facilities are good like accommodation.but the food is not proper and we have to spent our extra money to buy food in the food courts.
- Some faculties are rude in behaviour and sometimes irritates the students at the last end of the semester like not signing in the records , etc. because of this behaviour, the students struggled to clear the examinations.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is CBCS( choice based credit system). By this we can choose our subjects and by it's credit value. In my department of Electrical and electronics engineering, I have many core related courses which helped me to gain many knowledge in my sector. The exams are kept thrice in a semester.they are known as cumulative internal assessment ( CIA).
Internships Opportunities
The college provides intership facilities with many start up companies and also some local companies near our home town.So it's easy to locate the companies. The companies like Walmart has given internship to the students and one of them got a stipend of 12 lakhs per annum.
Placement Experience
The placements are good in the campus.students who finish their 6th semester are eligible to attend the placement drives. They also have placement training and should pass the screening test to be eligible for attending the placement. The highest package offered is 16.5 lakhs per annum and the average package is 6.5 lakhs per annum. The percentage of students getting placements are 75%.
Fees and Financial Aid
The tution fees for my course is Rs.80000 per year (electrical and Electronics Engineering). The semester exam fees are paid separately.it costs around 6k to 7k. The scholarships is also Provided for the students by the first graduate policy or sc quota policy. The counseling students can also available government scholarships and can be availed in the college.
Campus Life
The college conducts cultural fests like Dhruva for seniors and Kalam for juniors. The college also provides technical fests with Workshops. The college Library consists more than 1 lakh books in all the department genres. the college also conducts Sports day and have conducted Competitions and distributeed certificates.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel provides facilities like accommodation of 2 in a room and 4 in a room. The room is very good because they alloted us a new block .but the fees is very expensive as compared to the facilities provided.the fees is Rs.85000 per annum. There is even water scarcity now in the hostel.
Admission
The admission process is very simple. Just reach out to the college and speak with the admission counselor and they would fill the admission application formand if u have joined via government counseling, just take a copy of that counseling validation certificate and present it in the office.
Faculty
The staffs in our departments is very good and also well educated. All the staffs who takes class for us are some important persons in the college. The way of teaching is also good and they clear all the doubts as well. But some staffs are rude in behaviour. They are outside department staffs. They don't care about us because we are some other department and it's not theirs problem.
