SVNIT has a nice academic history. And yes it is very near to my home so I selected to come to the event college. Thanks for A2A. Trust on the academics part. He is the best person on that topic. Regarding hostels. Beautiful hostels with really good infrastructure. Mess food is also pretty good. Regarding placements, the placements of the previous year are not a good yardstick for the placement of given year. Overall, the college has good enough placements and several "dream" companies will also come to recruit you. names are so similar.

Internships Opportunities
Yes, scholarships are provided from both Hostel section and Institute funds for their respective payment of hostel and Institute fee. Another mode is through Alumni Association & two people donate money only for Girl students. (Sorry I don’t remember their name, you can ask your council to search out). The amount given to the students depends upon the total budget of the Institute of that Academic year. From that budget, the total amount for various activities is decided by the Administration.

How are the CSE placements in SVNIT Surat? The answer below is in reference to the placement statistics for the academic year 2014–2015. As with most colleges, Computer Engineering students at SVNIT are the ones with the highest CTC (20 LPA) as well as the highest average CTC (7.92 LPA) compared to students from other branches. Companies that have hired Computer Engineering students in the past include Snapdeal, Google, Microsoft, Paytm, Flipkart, Mu Sigma, Oracle. These are apart from the usual IT companies — Tata Consultancy Services, Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, HCL Technologies, Tech Mahindra, Cognizant, etc.
