Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum here is not so good till my batch at 2019-23.. After 2020 they have introduced specialisation.. which made students to choose the field which are truely intrested.. The university is teaching method is not so satisfying..I think they can do much better.. Exams are medium level.. you can score if u have revised pyqs

Placement Experience

In my year..the placements are not so good...many of my friends got a placement of 4-5 lakhs annum Some gor 8+ lakhs.. Also .. University provide abroad plans for further studies.university have tie up with some top universities..they provide opportunity.. Some of my friends wrote GRE AND ILTES went abroad for MS. Some planning for GATE for mtech in iits or nits..

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fee hike is increasing year by year.. To normal person it would take 10-12 lakhs for 4 years in parul University. I have also seen some students get scholarship.. local( from Gujarat). They provide usually 40percentage scholarship.. also they consider merit .

Campus Life

It is coolest part. Parul University is very good in this aspect of providing extracurricular activities.. Every week in campus something will going on.. You can enjoy the events.. participate in it And get wonderful opportunity

Hostel Facilities

The first year i joined in flats.. there are 9 people in total.. there is place though... The rooms are good..one good thing here is no ragging at all In my second year I went vip hostel ..their are 3 people.. for room. Hostel days are little strict. Now they have changed the names of hostel..

Admission

Admissions are usually taken through merit.. also for local ( Gujarat ) they conduct examination.. If u have secured good marks in 12th board there is possible for decreasing of your college fee. The exams are thoroughly conducted ... They should conduct exam India wise..also there shouldn't be any partiality between local and non-local

Faculty

The faculty here teaches so well.. Like one of my sir helped in preparation of my GATE exam. The faculty to student ratio is like 1:70.. most of the faculty are from NITs/IITs.. so they got talent.. We do interact, also participate in projects

Placements are good. Students are eligilble for campus placements from 7th semester. The highest package is 2100000 and the lowest is 200000. The median package is 3.5 to 4.5 lakhs per year. From last two years there was 100% placements but usually its 90%. I plan to pursue pg after this degree in either mtech or mba.

Placement Experience:

In our college placement starts from 7th semester and students are eligible from the 7th semester. The highest package is around 21 lakh and avg package is 3.5 to 4 lakhs(companies are tcs , tatvasoft , argusoft , IBM etc.) many students get placement like more than 50 % my simple plan is to get a good job from campus placement and do job after my graduation.

Placements start to comence from 7th sem.It is the eligibility criteria for all students. Companies like Sopan Industries etc have visited the campus for placement purpose. Highest package was of around 4.9lpa and average is around 3.4lpa Most students who got placements were those with an average CGPA of 8.6

My Life at Parul University as a computer science student

i choose this course becasue CSE and Ai are currently high in demand, overall the collage is decent mainly becasue of the diverse crowd, students from almost every state study here, the collage events and fests are alo pretty good. previously i also tried applying in top collages like nirma but cutoff were too high for general catagory. the admission process is quite easy either you come through acpc, jee or managment, it doesnt matter, the fees is same....Read More
