A great educational institutions for engineers

The college is the best one after IITs and NITs. You can keep it as an option. The college will not disappoint you.

I didn't get any of the IIT or NIT college. But, after then I came to know about Galgotia. I heard a lot of positive things about this college. That's why I opt for this college. And, the college doesn't disappoint me. I got a lot of things to learn in my 3 years.

There will be a total of 4 years consisting of 8 semesters. Courses are both practical and theoretical, Mainly focus is given on practical knowledge. Labs are available and faculties are very helpful. For some students, the courses may be tough but the faculty supports us well.

The college provides internship and some industrial visit to their students. But, the college makes a charge for this. INternship organizes inside the college campus. The trainer comes from outside. Recently, an internship was organized of the biogas power plant for electrical, electronics engineers.

Galgotia is well known for its placement record. And especially for CSE and IT students, placement record is great. But, it is poor for mechanical and civil students. Only IT companies visit the college. Core company doesn't come here, THe company provides an average package of 3.5 - 4.0 lakhs.

Many vents are organized here. Like annual fest, department fest, freshers party, and farewell party. Annual fest is named is Galgotias infest G-Quasar which is really awesome. Many stars also come in the fest. Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, John Abraham, Varun Dhawan like stars have already visited the college and entertain the students. yes, this is true. You can see a number of videos on youtube.

The fee is a little bit higher in comparison to other colleges. You will have to pay 1.20 lakhs per year only for academic. Hostel fee is taken separately. At the time of admission, they will also take a security amount of 10000. But, they are refundable after 4 years as told by a college.

Yes, the scholarship is also provided but only to Uttar Pradesh students and to other states students. You will have to submit all the required documents to be eligible for the scholarship.

The campus is really awesome and crowded. Big grounds, fountain area gardens give a perfect look to my college. Boys and girls ratio is 4:1 here. A number of clubs are available here like the dance club, music club, and many more. sports tournament are organized at regular intervals. Many workshops are organized at regular intervals.

The hostel is good mainly for girls only but not for boys. Food is just satisfactory. The hostel is inside the campus. Rooms are spacious. And, many facilities like laundry, wifi, housekeeper, gym, indoor and outdoor games facilities etc are provided.

College provides a good way to interact with alumni and seniors. In department fest, all the students get a chance to interact with seniors, and seniors are really too helpful here.

In a single semester, two sessional exams and one pre-university test are organized just before the semester exam. Class tests are also taken from time to time. The sessional exam is of 40 marks and a pre-university test is of 100 marks. These exams are really too helpful for the end semester exam.

I got admission on the basis of my JEE MAIN score. Anyone of the entrance exams is must to take admission in this college. UPTU entrance exam is conducted to get admission in this college. But, if you score good in jee main and 12 board then you can also get direct admission into it.

Faculties are highly qualified and came from different parts of the country. Their teaching methodology is very interesting. You will not get bored during the lecture. They keep a friendly attitude towards student and they will always be available to clear your doubt and help you towards your carrier.
