A student's story from the Vishnu's Dairy

The Computer science and engineering and the allied branchs had a great demand in SHRI VISHNU ENGINEERING COLLEGE FOR WOMEN college both in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The curriculum is well prepared with a planning and it will be implemented with perfection. The faculty and students do follow the curriculum given in the starting of the semester. No suggestions needed because my college's curriculum is in well planned structure . The mid term exams will be in every two months and each semester carries 5-6 months including holidays . Students will not feel difficulty to attempt exams as they gain practical knowledge

Companies like Amazon Flipkart IBM Reliance Honda Adobe HCL offered internships for our college's students with a good amount of stipend. Projects and internship will be given to students in third year and the outcomes are very excellently provided by students.

From the 5th semester students are eligible for campus placements. Companies like Amazon, Flipkart, IBM, Reliance,Honda, Adobe,Cap Gemini, Accenture JSW had visited our college . They had maid a many hundreds of offers . The highest package is about 50lpa lakhs per annum and average package is about 10-12lpa lakhs per annum. About 75-85% students will be placed after four years. My plans is to get placed in campus and get a good paid job.

The tution fee is about 77000 and will be the same through the 4 years of journey. The complete cost of the academic year will be less than two lakhs including hostel and other needs. Government provides scholarships for students and colleges guides students to apply other scholarships like Amazon FFE scholarship and Reliance scholarships and many more. There is a 90% employment undertaken.

Fests like technova, Hackathon Ideathon are happened in our college in every year on women's day and festivals like Sankranti (Pongal) and Dasara. Students run many social groups and clubs like radio Vishnu, dance thunders, psychology club upsc club , robotics club and many more.

They provide a attached bathroom and four sockets of plug for charging for 4 member bed room and they provide sockets accordingly to the room member sharing. They serves a good and fresh food. The accommodation and hostel is very clean and neat. Hostel will be cleaned everyday when students went to colleges. They clean and put mop in the hostel rooms.

Students who pass intermediate MPC with 70-75% are eligible for the course and The cut off mark for Computer science and engineering branch is 80-90 marks and the cut off rank is below 5k . The students who got EAMCET rank below 10k or 12k-15k will get computer science and engineering specialisation courses like Cyber security,Aids,Aiml . There is also Branches like ECE, Mechanical, Civil and they are also good branches in SVECW which had highly paid placements and jobs.

The ratio of faculty to student is about 3:100 and the professors here are very talented and professional oriented. Some professors are also from IIT'S and NIT's like IIT kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, Nit Calicut. Professors interaction with the students is very good and it will happen one or twice in a week. Each and every student will be provided by a mentor and they can approach their mentors and can clear their problems. The teaching of the professors are at high standards and they interact and communicate with students
