The NIE - A comprehensive review

Overall I would rate my course which is CSE a 9 out of 10.They have a very good syllabus in their curriculum which makes us learn every bit of out courses. They also give us some practical skill labs and also external courses to complete which enhances our skill sets. They have improve their curriculum by adding more practical sessions I think. They have a continuous evaluation curriculum which keeps us in touch with the college syllabus.

From fourth or fifth semester the placement begins to start here. Also students are encouraged to apply for jobs through off campus too and are supported via various programmed. There are about 450+ visiting our campus for placements. Some major companies are JP Morgan ,HPE enterprises , fidelity investments, Mercedes Benz etc. A total of 3100 students have been placed in the last 5 years.

Yeah sadly they have increased their fees to 2,64,000 for comedk students. These increase has been very much lately in 2-3 years. They have a scholarship for sc and st students. Currently I am a fresher 1st year student.

The overall experience of college life is very good. There are various fests being conducted in the campus including the branch fests and yearly fests. Our fest is named as TechNieks. There are libraries in both campus which provide huge number of books and also they provide E learning resources for students to learn. All the classrooms are provided with projectors and Ac auditoriums which overall makes your college experience good. There are various clubs, societies run by college where you take part and develop skills.

The hostel rooms are also good and are cleaned every week also they are equipped with fans and good quality study tables. The meal is also good and is vegetarian based hostel also they prepare special meals on Sundays which jnclude various dessert. The registration process for hostel is also quite good but you should be early enough to book for hostel as they get booked fast.

The last year cutoff for cse was around 4k to 5k . The application form can be found in the comedk's official website and more information such as dates are released in their websites. There is no reservation benefits except for the hyderabad-Karnataka region students. The exam level is about easy to moderate. Overall the admission process is smooth except they take some amount of registration fee.

The faculty student ratio is 1:16.The majority of then have great degrees like PhD. The faculties are very much supportive and kind also their teaching is also good. You can ask doubts and interacts whenever you have free time.
