National PG College, Lucknow

I chose B.Com for my graduation because I want to do a simple graduation as I've plans for my future and Lucknow was not far from my hometown and I also had heard about National PG College so I decided to take admission there. I didn't felt any difficulties in my course as it mostly covers a syllabus which I already had read im my boards even if I felt something like that then there the faculty was very helpful in the situation. Semesters took place after every six months and the dates and schedule are already been fixed so that we can have much time to prepare.

College provides many internship opportunities in different fields and students get stipend also. Some of them are BAJAJ Finance, Bank of Baroda, Indus Bank and many insurance and financing companies and BYJU'S, Swiggy, Zomato and Amazon and many more. The internships are basically for two months, four months and six months as per the calibre of a student. The stipend they provide range between 3000-8000 per month.

Students become eligible for campus placements from fifth semester and can be seated in any placement cell they want. Approximately 20 to 30 companies came in our college for placement. Percentage of students getting placed is more than 90% and the highest package is of ?8-9lpa. I want to do further studies so I didn't opt for placement but I gave an interview and got selected for the job but not chose to do that job.

Fees structure was very simple as this is a government owned college so fees was not very high. As I was a student of a regular batch so my fees was around 5000 approx per year and a student from a self financed batch had to pay a fees of 24000 per year which is again not a hype and as well they provide government scholarships yearly in which if a student had applied than they'll get minimum of 8000 back. Campus provides internships and placements yearly. As I've done internships including BAJAJ Finance, Bank of Baroda, etc.

College focuses mostly on education aspect and extra curricular activities are now taking place in some recent years and many celebrities have also came in our college fest last year. They focuses on sports as our college won the football championship played in Lucknow. And also came second in the cricket tournament. National PG College also has a student portal on Instagram which post daily activities of our college

Application process is pretty simple as they provide every detail on the college dashboard and application form fees is nearly 200-300. I didn't gave the entrance exam because I joined in the COVID year i.e 2020 so my admission was done on the basis of merit. But earlier then covid and in recent years entrance exams are conducted on a regular basis and it's pretty tough to clear the exam because our college gives admission on the basis of knowledge.

The faculty of our college is one of the best among the other colleges of Lucknow. Teachers are so supportive and interactive infact we can approach them whenever needed. Faculty to students ratio is approximate 40:60. Teachers are well educated and professionals so that we can get maximum from them. They try to explain everything in details that we can never forget how to implement them in our semesters and that's the reason our college gives best results throughout the year.
